The video was good. I was there earlier in the month. Relative to Devil’s Bridge, I found only about a half dozen people there and they all left right after I got there so I had the place all to myself. I could not believe it since I heard all the stories of it being crowded. I was there in the afternoon. I also noted that there were hardly any cars at the Mescal Trail Head parking.

Excellent video. We're staying in Sedona for a week next September on vacation from Scotland, I've watched a few videos about the area, this is by far the most comprehensive. We always buy the annual pass before travelling, so it's good to know we can use it at certain locations. 🏴🇺🇲

Thanks! Nicely done. The modern ruins near West Fork trailhead are, by the way, from a hotel that was there in the early 20th century, said to have hosted many of the personnel who came to make movies in Sedona as well as other celebrities, politicians, etc. who came to visit. In that same area, the hiker will pass through remnants of the orchards that were one of the pioneer industries near Sedona. Also, visitors can consider getting the Grand Annual parking pass, which also works at West Fork, Crescent Moon, and Grasshopper Point. It’s only $40 and covers pretty much all the paid areas (except National Park/Monument areas) for a year.

Is there tour guides? Is it best to go alone?
@DanTreks11 ай бұрын
Hi! There's a variety of local tour guides in town, you could start here to check out some: www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g31352-Activities-c42-t235-Sedona_Arizona.html As for going alone, that's completely up to you! Sometime it's fun to travel with friends, other times you need a good solo adventure.

Can you recommend a nice hotel for honeymoon?
@DanTreks11 ай бұрын
So, I generally stay at the Sedona Summit when in town: www.hilton.com/en/hotels/flgsegv-hilton-vacation-club-sedona-summit/ It's not necessarily the fanciest resort, but it's well-located for some of the more popular trails, and has most of the amenities you'd expect, while generally being reasonably priced--for Sedona at least. If you're looking for something a little more inclusive, you might look into the Enchantment Resort, located at the start of Boynton Canyon: www.enchantmentresort.com/ There are quite a few nice properties in the Sedona area though, so it's a matter of which best suits your needs.

I live here. If you do decide to come, please do the following: - Respect our town as you would respect your own home - Learn how to be courteous while navigating roundabouts - Do not turn left from the right lane - Do not give money to the "homeless" on the corners. They all drive Audis. - Picazzos is the best happy hour; Mariposa is overrated. - Red lights mean stop...not speed up. - Most of all....have fun!

To pay for access to federal land is very disheartening. Do we not pay enough in taxes? I hate what the politicians have done to America.
@mitchellmtb72029 ай бұрын
Not every tax paying American recreates on Federal land. Your $5 parking ticket helps transfer that burden to the people who actually use it. It also helps visitors re-think their choice drive vs. shuttle to the trails which already suffer from lack of parking and over tourism. Your taxes overwhelmingly go towards funding stupid wars, not national parks.
@nobody-xs3gc3 ай бұрын
It’s much much cheaper than most public parking in busy city’s public parking garages - which are also public lands although not federal
@bisquitngroovy11 күн бұрын
If politicians didn’t save this land, it would be a Walmart parking lot. Pay the five bucks and enjoy, dang!
