I really like the fact that Ethan speaks at a normal pace. Too many videos out there speak way too slow even when the contents are intermediate to advanced level. The thing is in real life no one really slows it down for you because English is not your first language. Thank you for the videos.

He still slows down his normal speed a little because it's a podcast for English students. But he stills speaks faster than other native english teachers out there.

I love recommending series to help people learn English, and one of my favorites is Down to Earth with Zach Efron. It's not fiction but I think it's nice to listen to their natural, conversational English and learn something new, too.

Thank you a lot for the survey. I've added some movies to my "to watch" list. As to " The man in the high castle" I'd dare to make a small remark that the Soviet Union mentioned by Ethan as a "rest of the allied power" played a key role together with its allies to defeat fascism. Also, I'd recommend "Your honor" from my list. A good drama, from my point of view. It's not yet complete, seven episodes of 10 are so far available. Thank you!)

which subtitles if the subtitles are provided by KZbin, they were not created by your channel, I think it would be a good idea to create your subtitles because KZbin subtitles are autogenerate, they have some mistakes

Thank you for the podcast a lot! I really enjoyed it ) But there's just a little question. 8:44 Andrea said: "there's lots of different accents". But the word "accents" is plural, so why did she said "there's"? Why not "there are lots of different accents"?

People make mistakes.
@СвітланаВасилишин-я7з4 жыл бұрын
@@Dimon12321 but I noticed that a lot of people do this mistake. So, maybe, that's just informal way to say that?
@Dimon123214 жыл бұрын
@@СвітланаВасилишин-я7з Short forms is an obscure topic. "There's" feels easier to be said than "There're", so in casual speech you don't really have to bother with this one. Your partner won't get confused because of it.

I agree with the other person that we often say "there's" because it's easier/faster than saying "there are."
