Hi Adam - thanks so much for your videos :) I just bought a C922. I will be following your videos a couple of more time to set it up using Logitech Capture. I mainly using webcam to record my zoom yoga classes. Can I get away by only using Logitech capture, without OBS? I am not that tech savvy, I prefer to involve very few pieces of software if possible. I hope to hear back from you.

Glad I could help 😁 It's not compulsory to use OBS, it really depends on what you're doing. OBS is usually used for screensharing and live broadcasting when using content platforms like KZbin. It just so happens that it has a recording feature and when I do tutorials, I use it. Use whatever makes sense for your scenario 😉

I had downloaded the Logitech Camera Settings app and thought it was rather weak, However, I did not know there was another option such as this Capture app. I see that there are quite a few on their page. Any others you recommend for a Brio webcam? I'm looking forward to learning more about OBS too!

Thanks for the video - this was great and made an instant difference! I was wondering for those using mac laptops - I find my mac heats up real quick every time I use logitech and makes that loud noise from the heat - would you know how to stop that?

Glad I was able to help 😊. Not so sure about that mac issue. Usually a webcam would not cause that, software do. Try just switching on your webcam with no other software on and see if there's any change.

@@HustleSavvy I found when I had OBS on, there was no heat or noise. But as soon as i use Logi Capture, the heat and noise comes right on. It sucks as I need to film some important videos haha. Can you film and save videos without Logi capture? Sorry if that's a silly question, still new to webcam filming!

I've had real audio sync problems using an external mic (Blue Snowball) and Logitech Capture. The audio beats the video, so you look badly dubbed. I can fix with a delay to audio on OBS but anything I can do in Capture do you know? Thanks.

The settings work in Capture but I don't use Capture software when at meetings. I have to use Kaiser software and Microsoft Teams. The settings do not carry over to those. Specifically the zoom setting. When I use those two programs, people can see my entire living room and there are no settings in those programs. I wish I had not gotten this webcam. So I don't understand the purpose of changing these, if they won't carry over anyway.

Thank you for this video! It helped me a lot. However, I do have a recent issue. Logi capture has been working great for me, until the last couple of days. All the sudden my video is distorting whenever I move. I have tried 1080 and 720, different fps with the same result. It's pretty frustrating. I have the latest updated version. I even tried some older versions. Any help with this would be so appreciated.

Hi Savvy, I recently got my C922, however, the settings don't save when I use it for discord. It goes back to 720p and it makes it look subpar compared to when i use logi Capture as the source. My other issue with Logi Capture is that if I close it, it doesn't minimize to system tray unlike other streaming platforms. Do you have any recommendations?

You have to run Logitech Capture and whatever other software at same time. You must also select Logitech Capture as video source. There is no other way around it.
