I fish with mono most of the time but if I do fish fluoro I would recommend seaguar basix in terms of value. Its not a "leader line" but it only cost like 10 bucks for 175 yards of 20 lb line and it performs exactly the same. Can't beat it in terms of value.

I used to do the same with vanish flouro! I used to get their 200yd spool of flouro line and would just use that. But it all depends on what type of fishing you do. You can get away with just flouro line but the leader material is definitely more abrasion resistant. If you hook onto a ladyfish with straight flouro line it’ll break you off easier compared to an actual leader material. If you’re targeting sheepshead, trout or redfish you can get away with regular flouro line. It all depends
