28 November we, along with our 2013 GT500, are moving to Florida from Germany. It has been an amazing ride, literally, on the autobahns! I need a companion car and the GT350 fits the bill. When our two boys are old enough, they get the cars but until that time, I have the fun! The only years are either 2019 or 2020 and it must be the non R version for the kids. Color is pending, but I really do like the Heritage Edition! You make decisions tough. You do know your daughter almost stole the show.... Great video.

Fantastic post! I own a 2020 Wimbelton GT350 and I love it. I agree when it comes to driving especially a nice road you want to become one with your car and that experience you get listening to that engine as you roll on the throttle and ride country roads. It takes you home to a place where u belong. Ford got it right with this car. 👌

That was a one of my favorite GT350 reviews, liked the comparison between the Boss and 500, I feel the rawness of the GT350 with the tremec manual, magneride suspension and the unique sound while shifting at 8000+ rpm's is a driving experience to excite the senses. The aerial video was also impressive... great job.....where did you film ??? .

Appreciate the kind words, thank you. We original planned to film in the Angeles Crest canyon roads, but they were all closed to non-residents because of previous/potential forest fires. So we ended up in Sunland and San Pedro, CA. Cheers.

Holy crap, where do you live? That's some beautiful scenery & roads. Oh, there's a car being reviewed? Sorry- the GT350 is fantastic too! Appreciate the comparo to the Boss 302 as I'm currently shopping a '19 Bullitt vs a GHIG '13 Boss. Lordy, the GT350's exhaust is intoxicating!!! Great drone shots, too.

Hey, Lee, I didn't see the bit about the Bullitt v Boss in your comment. Good luck on the choice -- that's a hard one -- and let me know what you pick. I was thinking about getting the Bullitt last year, but my Boss is paid off and the Bullitt didn't seem like it was $20K better than the Boss. Definitely a great car, and more luxurious if you get it with the standard seats :)
@gopherit49524 жыл бұрын
Owner of 19 gt350R. That's what's so special about the 350s. Everyother car right now is all about horse power and putting you back in the seat. Just throw a big blower on anything and you have that. What's great about that? Now the naturally aspirated voodoo speaks or screams for itself and needs no help. I walked away from a 2020 gt500 and ran to the 350. To be very collectable. Loved the heritage edition but I did not like the 350 labled twice on each side of the car.

Another huge difference between the two cars is the brakes. The boss brakes were good but the 350 brakes are on a whole different planet. Not sure if you’ve done the track attack yet but I had no idea how capable the brakes on the Shelby actually were until I attended the event.

@@MStrange88 Yeah, that was the only thing missing, honestly. Once you've reved something like a Coyote-platform 5.0 or 5.2 up to 7500 and beyond, it's odd to drive something so fast that quits at 6500 (even though the LT2 is basically the best 'chevy small block' ever) FYI, we should have some more fun Mustang content coming later this year -- we're on the press list for the GT, Mach 1, GT500 Carbon Handling Pack, and Mach E GT.

Excellent video & commentary (cute kid too!). It's been ages since I drove a Mustang & with this 2020 deadline, I'm really keen on the 350(R). I'd love to have that one sitting right behind you. I currently own a BMW M2 competition (but do to circumstances I didn't get a manual). I just have one question. Does Ford charge over Msrp on the GT350(R)? It's kinda what put me off about the 350 & 500 Shelby cars. I don't mind paying full Msrp if the is in relatively high demand but I won't pay over (it's just a rule my old ass won't budge on). Thank you for the great video & cool drone shots. Damn that car sounds bitch'n. Have a safe & blissful Christmas holiday!
@internetbrandsautogroup38264 жыл бұрын
Ford never charges over MSRP, Scottie, but some of their dealers sure love to. From what I've seen, Dealers are trying to mark up the Heritage Edition models, but for the most part, you can find GT350s and Rs at sticker, although you might have to find one out of state. Cheers!

I purchased a Bullitt about a year ago; it’s a blast to drive too and gives you a thrill with the manual and sound at high rpm’s. You did a great review on this Heritage Edition. My Bullitt was about $52K out the door and about $15 K less the this, but also a really great ride with all the modern features including the Magneride and Electronics pkg. I love the digital dash; auto rev matching an que ball shifter and the dark highland green paint on the Bullitt Edition. Check one out for a test drive and read Car and Drivers long term review. Some critics say it’s the best Mustang ....even better then the Shelby! (of course they’d be in the minority!)
