I have to say that it’s amazing, its been 3 months since I got the hoka Clifton 9 as you recommended here and I finally can walk on my feet without pain, I had two surgeries for Portis neuroma and both didn’t succeed, the pain was unbelievable and I couldn’t believe anymore to the insole, so follow your video and it’s really truly help me and I’m surprised thank you very much, my life is much better now totally changed!

Thanks for this review. I ended up buying both Hoka Clifton 9 Wide, for outdoor everyday, and the Asics Gel Cumulus 26 Extra Wide for my gym shoes. I first tried Asics Glideride but they were too tight in the toe box, despite being otherwise fantastic. The two I bought are amazing.

What would you recommend for someone with Plantar Fasciitis and neuroma? I recently developed the neuroma, probably because I try to always where a shoe with a high heal drop for my Plantar Fasciitis.

The Asics Gel Kayano 30 has a high heel drop and medial arch support
@knottynomore28456 ай бұрын
The very best thing to do for you to resolve your plantars fasciitis is to work out the sides of your knees! 80% of my patients have plantars bc they don't have great blood flow at their knees. It's the number one cause. And do not listen to a Podiatrist! They just want to sell you custom made, high dollar insoles that make your plantars worse. You MUST work your feet out! Morning and Night. Buying shock absorbing insoles for your shoes will really help too. Those cost eleven dollars at the walmart. Good luck Sweetheart!

Great info! Thank you. Should I stay away from the cortisone and alcohol shot?

The exercises from my PT as mention to strengthen my foot and changing my footsize for trainers helped. I also used a ASICS shoe. I think you should at least give these a try before injections or surgery,

Hi James very helpful. Coffee on the way. I have been using hoka gaviota 4s which have been great. Any recommendations for a trail or walking shoe? Hokas quite soft for hiking
@james_mccormack9 ай бұрын
Hi, thanks very much for the coffee. It might be worth looking at the Topo Athletic Trailventure 2.

Cuyiom slip on tennie shoes on amazon. My Man has finally found those and has two Morton's toes, 4 large calluses, and nerve pain too. But I take out the insoles and put in the eleven dollar ones from walmart that are for shock absorbing. We have now bought 6 of those pairs bc they don't pinch the toes, are true to size, are light weight, and give him very little pain. I hope that helps and others!

What is best slip resistant shoes for morton neuroma and bunions
@requinremembers10 ай бұрын
Thanks. I also need arch support. Do any of the shoes you mention here have good arch support? (Flat feet and overprotonation has resulted in a bunion mostly on left foot, which is why I now have a neuroma too. Walking hurts!!) It seems hard to find arch support AND a enough cushioning to protect the neuroma.

One might consider the Hoka Arahi 6, Asics Gel Kayano 30 or the New Balance 860 V13

Any suggestions for stump neuroma following 2 failed Morton's neuroma surgeries and double osteotomy of 2nd/3rd MCP? Thus far,NOTHING has helped but high arch sandals .

Very difficult to manage - anything with a wide toe box and forefoot rocker helps to offload the forefoot
@knottynomore28456 ай бұрын
Oh Sweetheart! Surgeries don't tend to help. Find someone in your area that knows how to do deep tissue bodywork and probably another person who has a class four cold light laser and is trustworthy. I use both in my practice and after 2-3 treatments, people feel no pain. A cold light laser takes the inflammation out and helps you heal yourself. And someone who doesn't sell a package. They should be using the highest wattage, each time. No reason, other than to take your money, not to. I hope that helps resolve your pain.

Hi James, thank you for this helpful video. Please could you advise what is best to wear in doors with Morton’s neuroma?
@james_mccormack10 ай бұрын
Hi, If possible we recommend to patients to have a cushioned indoor trainer to wear. Where this is not possible, anything that is wide fitting is helpful.

I have Morton's in both feet. Looking for the best work boot. Do you have any suggestions?
@james_mccormack6 ай бұрын
Anything with a wide toe box
@knottynomore28456 ай бұрын
Sweetheart, a work out boot? A great slip on tennie shoe is on amazon and is branded as cuyiom. Add an insole specifically for shock absorbing and it will help a bunch! Boots are awesome but unfortunately, I never want my patients to wear them. They don't allow for the foot to flex and work out the connective tissue. Best wishes to you!

Would you avoid Dr Martens sandals?
@james_mccormack6 ай бұрын
We generally recommend our patients to avoid sandals if they have a neuroma.
@aliroustai24682 ай бұрын
Unfortunately the way this man is showing the shoes shows how little he knows about this condition.. The first thing you want to look for is how wide the toe box is...the first and the most important . Most people and companies that pitch for a neuroma shoe without the actual knowledge of the dynamics will present their product just like this guy is doing.....
