I am a big fan of the COSRX Snail mucin serum and the moisturizer. I have sensitive, reactive acne prone skin . I am on my 4th bottle of the serum. It’s a game changer for me. Dr Dray has been talking about hypochrolus acid since 2020. She recommended spraying hypochlorous acid for those who were breaking out from face masks. I was using it and had my two boys use it as well.. There are plenty of inexpensive options available.. It’s key for me as I live in Florida Ms the heat and humidity is through the roof.

One thing I really like about You Angie is that you’re Honest when telling your followers that you do get Botox in those areas of your face because there’s not a skincare product on the market that can give you the same results as what Botox does, I don’t use any of the skincare products that you use but I use what works for my skin after years of being a sun lover also and only started taking care of my skin in my 50’s, and I only started getting Botox also in my mid 50’s, same areas as you but I’m 64 years old, so it’s basically taken me 10 years to get my skin to look the way it does today and I’m really happy with the results I’m getting from the skincare I use, DNA Repair was a product I incorporated into my skincare routine and have had amazing results from that, it’s the one that Penne recommended from her channel and I’ve gone through two bottles of it from Photozyme, fantastic product with results. I tried the Health Lab sunscreen you love. I found it really shiny and it was still annoyingly tacky 12 hours later; yet Jan Marini Physical Protectant isn't for me in dry Arizona. But the Jan Marini doesn't seem to work well with foundation that I will use on occasion. And my skin just soaks in CosRx snail Mucin. I've really been enjoying Dr Idriss serum and moisturizer this year, especially when it's hot. Fell of the Omnilux and Niod copper peptides wagon late spring, need to work them back in again. Hopefully getting the estrogen cream next week. This " about to turn 60 " thing is messing with my head. I appreciate the time and research you put in to help me narrow my choices down. ❤

It’s a European chemical sunscreen with a PPD higher than La Roche-Posay’s UVMUNE 400 (PPD of 61 to be exact). I contacted the R&D lab of the company, and they said it's fine to layer mineral sunscreens on top because their SPF50 facial sunscreens don’t contain Avobenzone. Also, just a heads-up on the hypochlorous acid spray. It can deactivate products like Vitamin C and Tretinoin. Personally, I only use it on my body after a workout. Hope this helps! Xx

Hi Angie, as always, thank you so much for your amazing, informative videos, I have learnt so much from you 🙏 Two questions please- . Do you plan on trying the new skin care products from Omnilux? What are your thoughts on the eye brighteners from Omnilux please? I purchased the eye brighter but find I can only get 2 1/2 treatments from them. I love my contour mask and neck and deck but very disappointed in the eye brightened. Would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts please.

I also love Timeless Vitamin C 20%! If you use that on your neck and then put on the copper peptide serum it renders both serums useless. That might be why you haven't seen a big difference with the copper peptides. Just a heads up. :)

Well Angie , you make me feel better. I thought I was the only snail mucin failure. I hated it. Its sticky and horrible stuff and I feel I have to wash it off asap. I have the same problem with most vitamin C formulas too. I keep buying new ones and I abandon them pretty quickly because they are sticky and smelly.

I really do appreciate the sort of fact-based educational content you offer us for skin care, and have made several purchases based on your suggestions. Just a note: In the past, I used a product that had both argireline & matrixyl in it...such an effective combo for me. Company stopped producing and I've finally ended up purchasing an Argiriline Solution and a Matrixyl product from The Ordinary. I'm going to see how they work combined...hoping to replicate the results of that wonderfully effective serum on my skin.🤞 If this combo something you've tried? Again, thanks for your insights!

What are your thoughts on Estroil?

I’ve read a bunch of articles saying that you have to be careful using hypochlorous acid with other skincare ingredients, especially antioxidants, because it can cancel out their benefit. And that you should use the spray first, after cleansing, and make sure that it is totally dry before applying other products. Have you done any research into this? Thanks!

Snail mucin was a miss for my face as well - it caused breakouts for me, which was odd, haven't had breakouts in a decade. However, it is MAGIC for mosquito bites, or really anything itchy and irritated. Wow, it stops the itch like nothing else.

People either love snail mucin or hate it. I love it.

I bought the haru haru sunscreen because of you and as soon as i finish my current sunscreen i will be trying it. I have also found the snail musin to feel kind of gross. I have had it for a long time and have to force myself to use it. Im not sure if I will finish the bottle or not. Thanks for doing all the research for us! 😊

I get some benefit from both argireline (no botox) and the CosRx snail mucin. I have drier (dryer?) skin than Angie does, and I use the snail mucin in the winter or if I've done something that mildly irritates my skin. It seems to help moisturize and soothe. Interestingly, I don't remember it as particularly sticky. I actually like CosRx's moisturizer better, though. The argireline is not a miracle worker. I use it as a spot treatment. The first time I tried it, I'd used up almost the entire bottle before I saw any benefit. If I'm consistent with it, it seems to soften but not eliminate my 11 lines. It works best for me in tandem with Frownie dupes, occasionally boosted by sessions with the Renpho eye massager if I seem to be frowning a lot. I suppose the bottom line is that everybody's skin is different, and things that don't work for some folks may work for others.

I agree about the Argeraline. I do use the CosRx Snail Mucin more in Winter, and I don’t use much - maybe a dime sized amount for face and neck. I also use the Timeless and Tretinoin and have started to use the CosRx 6 Peptide Skin Booster, which is a thinner consistency, almost like water. I like it so far.

I’ve been using hypochlorous acid for over a year, since Dr. Dray mentioned it for eczema. I use the SkinSmart brand and it’s like $17 for 8oz. So a lot cheaper than the Tower 28. It’s very soothing!
