Any time you're going to cut meat into thin slices, always put it in the freezer for like 15 minutes to firm it up. Makes it so much easier when it's not wobbling around

I have a dark past with a mandolin I was cutting cucumbers since I was making pickles and I was talking to my dad about something wasn’t paying attention and opened a big gash in the tip of my index finger in my right hand and to add insult to injury it went through the nail had to get 3-4 stitches that was an embarrassing trip to urgent care 😅

the mandolin is actually pretty easy to clean as the pusher can be removed and the blades are then removed from that. Theres no hard spots to clean at all. I got it myself so i can make chips and also fries bec it does that too!
