I know this is an old post but I just started watching your channel and love your content. I do Brazilian blowouts and have somewhat frizzy hair and it’s medium to thin. What do you recommend for products for frizz and volume at roots. I love your tutorials but not sure if with my hair type to use volume products or stick to smoothing ones or both.

Hi, I’m soooooo appreciative of you explaining all these products I’ve been searching this info! My daughter has frizzy dry hair, I do not blow dry her hair I just want to know what I can use to get her hair smooth and frizz free. I already used Paul Mitchel leave in conditioner, cheaper brands like fructis garnier taming spray, and serum from their company. The serum I may have used too much. But I’m not looking for shine, I want smooth frizz free please please can you help me? I would greatly appreciate it! You’re so nice answering so many questions. Thank you in advance! I have a question about frizz, would you still recommend these products for someone with fine frizzy hair? i know many products are geared for course frizzy hair, but mine is fine textured even though i have a lot of it. It’s naturally wavy and it’s very prone to frizz!

Hey Summer! I have super long, fine to medium texture but lots of it, and waves with some soft ringlets underneath. I also color at home with Essensity by Schwarzkopf using 8-77( light copper) my natural color is dark blonde to light brown. I never ever blow dry so can you recommend some really great products for air-drying? I have horrific tangles too! So many detanglers don’t work! Also my stylist did a gloss treatment by Pravana and it was incredible. Unfortunately she said it was discontinued?? Do you know of anything similar to it? Thank you!

Pravana did discontinue most of their glazes but there are definitely other brands! Joico and Paul Mitchell have nice options and give better shine than Redken Shades. Kenra has a nice product called Air Dry Creme that you might like, I would still recommend mixing it with some type of oil for your frizz. Olaplex 6 & 7 can also be used for air drying, just easy them esp the 6 very sparingly! Hope this helps!!

I always reach for Moroccan Oil Smoothing Lotion first but the Brazilian Blowout Bonding Spray is a close second!

Do you mean natural curls or making curls with an iron? I don't know that I think super skinny is going to hold your curl any better but it does help with frizz and taming the hair when styling it straight.

I have never been impressed with how my hair was styled at a salon. Not the cheap places, not the higher-end places. I don't pay for that service anymore. Heck, I don't even pay for them to wash my hair. They spray it down with water and cut it, then I go home to rinse it out and style it. I usually search for a coupon for a cheap place. I paid over $50 for haircuts years ago. Even went to some place that claimed to do "precision" cuts. Ultimately, I decided it wasn't worth it. All that to say I appreciate the info on products. I don't let stylists experiment on me, so it's up to me to find products that work.
