Can you do a video on shampoo for super thick hair. I have 4 daughters and have always struggled on finding a shampoo for them. They inherited our long thick and coarse indigenous Mexican hair. It's insane because it kind of gets dry fast as well. But they are getting in their teen years and most shampoos also gives them acne.

Been taking your advice for just 2 weeks and can’t believe the difference in my hair. It was super dry, and now it’s not. Simple as! Leave in conditioner has been a game changer. Can’t use the one you recommended as it’s not free of sulphates, silicones etc. Olaplex I react to, as well as any products with silicones and the rest of the chemicals. However, the Maroccanoil shampoo and conditioner you recommend is free of crap so just orders that, but frankly, just adding in a leave in conditioner has made a huge difference. I’ve been using oil on the ends for months and can’t say I’ve seen much of a difference, until I put it with the leave in conditioner. It’s the 2 that make the difference. Game changer. Thank you 🙏

Besides using L.I conditioner and oil, almost everyday, I "condition - wash" with a lot of light weight conditioner targeted for "daily use" and mix with the slightly warmer and more water already on and in your hair. More i than you would when washing with a traditional shampoo wash. I use a slightly higher temp of water and more of it to also create a more sudsy shampoo like experience. I brush it through and then rinse warm water through it again. Then I take only my ends and pour them under some really cold water for 5 seconds KEY SHAMPOO DAY - Once every 10 to 14 days I use a clarifying build-up shampoo to remove all the buildup. Then I follow up with my high-end shampoo from the salon that makes my hair the softest and far more cared for and manageable with better ingredients. Then I proceed to the daily Conditioner wash again and do that over for another 10 days followed by the clarifying shampoo and so on. ^^ This has made my the most hydrated, clean, flexible, strong and WITH THE LEAST BREAKAGE I've ever experienced. I should also add that I don't use any electric heating for other heating on my hair outside of the warmer water I use when I'm co-washing. If I were not to use the clarifying shampoo that would look awful but this is what I do and it really works for me. I actually bleach my roots and tone them every 2 months. And my hair is still amazing. I have to also say that I lather it in coconut oil before I put any bleach on. This coconut trick has been a lifesaver and I don't understand why more hairdressers don't do this. It's like the greatest discovery I've ever made and is LIFECHANGING. Anyway that's all. I am rambling on😆

Thank you so much for educating us about hair it’s ground breaking info for me. I feel grateful for founding you. My question is: What about “silica” or that clear serum like “shine” ? Do they help retain moisture? Also what do you know about coconut oil on hair?

I absolutely love your videos Chris! I went and bought the Pureology color fanatic leave in conditioner and Moroccan Oil and it completely transformed by hair along with Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner. Thank you for your advice! I was wondering if you could do a comparison video on Moroccan Oil leave in conditioner Vs Pureology one... would you recommend it?

You forgot protein! Protein is also important for moisture retention and overall hair healthy! A lot of the times, adding more protein and moisture together will work better! Protein fills up the broken protein layers in the hair, causing the moisture to stay in and also adds strength, reduces frizz and thickens hair! Olaplex 3 is amazing, but it works differently than protein! I use both olaplex and protein and of course moisture!

Oh glad your videos came up, I’m on a mission to revitalize my curls. Got my hair cut, it was straightened to do so, but why did I leave with my hair smelly like burnt?
