Don't upset your aim with the trigger pull... bam.

@foxman105 Жыл бұрын
@@TcuB There's no trigger pull gun upset in COD as far as I can tell from some videos. As you squeeze it you have to make sure you don't pull your aim. I never played COD, but I did play shooters as a kid. But it's different actually doing with a gun and a controller. In real life there's no HUD, and aim assist. It's heavy, It makes you change your balance. You reload then calm your self again to a position where you can shoot again. Thing is heavy. It takes skill doing it fast. And real guns, not sports rifles are heavier. Try doing that in a standing position.

Fantastic movie, even a lot of the shooting facts they stated we on the extreme, but never impossible. like the crux of the movie being a 2200 yard cold bore shot, which is extreme to say the least, few people could ever pull that off, especially back then. but its not impossible with the 408 he has in the movie.

@InterdictionAirsoft Жыл бұрын
Well the 408 he had was a chytac m200 it was developed and prototyped in Arco Idaho, it comes with a ballistic calculator with lots of load data and every atmospheric calculation possible. Now when it was shown on a show called future weapons. The host shot at a target nearly 1.5 miles it took him three shots but he made it despite the wind picking up and throwing it in all directions. (Idaho is well known for challenging long range shooting). Yeah i agree with the cold bore shot not possible at best it would take at least several attempts if one is doing it solo without a spotter.

@@InterdictionAirsoft I was at a demonstration at Knight Arms back in 2012 or 2013 and there was a whole bunch of excellent shooters from all over the country and they were demoing quite a few really great rifles, the Cheytac 408 being one of them. They had .50 cals. from McMillin and Barrett and rifles from just about every manufacturer there is. It was a show to remember. We got a chance to inspect a lot of them and the Cheytac was very impressive, too bad I had no shot at trying one out, lol. The most interesting thing though, was a hand-made recreation of Gunny Hathcock's favorite Model 70 Winchester, complete with an 8x Unertl scope. After the demo, I went to a range that has a "Mad Minute" night every so often and I put some rounds through an H&K PSG-1 in .338 Lapua and it was an experience you don't forget about quickly. Later that year I went to a "Mad Minute" and it was exactly as advertised. I had never seen so many automatic weapons in one place in my life, not even when I was in the service. Tracers flying into the backstop, lol.

It looks so wrong because it was clearly filmed up close with a wide angle lens, rather than from far away with a zoom, as it would look through a scope. The shooter tv series does the same thing once or twice and it's dead obvious and hard to watch.

It's interesting how he sets the gun like he was framing it as a murder suicide only to be like "fuck it that's not gonna work" and busts the gas line in the kitchen.

UM DOS MELHORES FILMES DOS ÚLTIMOS TEMPOS. MELHOR CENA É NO FINAL QUE CANCELA O CPF DO SENADOR DA REPÚBLICA. ESSA NÃO TEM PREÇO. PENA QUE NA VIDA REAL NÃO TEM AQUI NO BRASIL. TAMBÉM TERIA QUE HAVER MAIS DE 500 SNIPER'S AQUI NO BRASIL 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 MAS NO STF SÓ SERIA PRECISO POUCOS🇧🇷🇧🇷

So in the first scene, he made the kill, but when the truck overturned the body in the back had mysteriously disappeared , didn't see the driver either, but we'll just assume he was on the floor of the truck. And what's real hollywood is that a leaking gas hose wouldn't cause an explosion like that, it would be a ball of flame for a second or two ,and besides it would take a lot longer for the gas to ignite seeing how the house was so well ventilated with windows blown out from gunshots etc.

If the truck was moving 30mph he would need to lead it more than 70 feet.

It's a movie. Do you want to kill 2 persons to make it more realistic?
@jacobmccandles17672 жыл бұрын
@@GoMrTom gosh could you Tom? That'd be great! Really though I'd just settle for sub-super hero impossibility in the portrayals. Improbable is one thing, but when you strain credibility too far, it's a less enjoyable ride.

@@GoMrTom No, but if you're going to direct a movie you make it as realistic as possible. Like Making Private Ryan. You use your brain and stick a damn dummy in the back of the truck. How difficult is it to do that 😕

It’s time for shooter 2! Mark is older now, with more wisdom…the silent assassin is ready to return!! With the right director, it’s highly possible

The snow topped mountain scene always bugs me, up to this point and most of the movie the bullet physics and weapons use appears grounded in real life. Then it goes all Hollywood. With zoom on scopes, bullets that act like howitzer rounds.

How did you calculate that? Not doubting you, just asking for the formula for how you gauged how/when the bullet intersected with the target.
@whiteknight012 жыл бұрын
@@nodeloliver6201 I know nothing about shooting but I'll give it a shot (pun intended) because it's a fun exercise. Let's say the bullet from the rifle is traveling at 1200 f/s as a quick google on high powered rifles says this. In order to travel the 900 or so yards it would take 2.25 seconds to reach its target. The truck it traveling at 30 mi/h so that's about 99 ft the truck would travel in the time for the bullet to reach its target. Now someone could say the rifle used is this make and type and using whatever calibre of round so its speed is whatever so if its slower than 1200 f/s then the 70ft could actually be plausible.

@@nodeloliver6201 its very approximate, but it had to do with flight time of the bullet to 900 meters/yards (I can't remember which I used) and how far the car would travel in that time.
