I've been to most of those locations, and I would say Curacao was hands down the best snorkeling, the most convenient snorkeling, cheapest snorkeling, variety of access beaches, no boats needed, reefs on the shore, little crime, i felt safe anywhere on the island, except for some crazy drivers, as well as the lowest cost of travel. Mexico and Belize is great, when you can pay for a boat to take you to the barrier reef, and if there is windy conditions, they won't even accept your money, and your stuck swimming in cenotes/freshwater.

Thanks for sharing! Yes, snorkeling right off the beach is definitely a great point... for that, I would have to say Honduras for me... it has superb snorkeling just off shore, BUT the safest place or most developed for tourism, especially solo

@@TravelGlobalVideos just got back from Bonaire 3 days ago. The variety of coral and sea life was better than Curacao, people are more friendly, they take US dollar, however, less beaches, terrible roads, places to eat were ok, and they scammed us on Covid test. Bonaire customs told us on arrival it is no longer necessary to take a covid test to enter the US. They (health department) offered a free rapid test elsewhere on the Island. We didn't take it a day before the flight because customs told us not to, and so did the nurse at the clinic. Ok...we arrive for our plane departure and right before we board, they refuse to let us on because now (they say) we must have covid test to enter the United States. So we have to go across the street and take a rapid PCR test for 260.00 out of pocket. Then waited 20 min for results, run back to board the plane. Get to US customs to find out the test is NOT necessary, nor required to enter the US. So despite the great sea life, we will never return to Bonaire, and we will make sure to tell our friends. Too many other places to go. DON'T GO TO BONAIRE, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED ! There was a line of other passengers forced to pay out money as well. Only a few people got a free test provided by their resort (that they took off site, at the resort, and then brought the results with them to the airport). We took a PCR test before flying in, and vaccinated. Ironically, I have 2 friends that returned from Mexico recently. The Cancun airport did not pull this scam, and they didn't have to take covid test to return. We would have been better off in Mexico, or Belize, eating decent food that is not over priced.

Snorkeling is better in Cozumel Mexico At Punta Sur eco park also Planacar and Columbia reefs side-by-side drift snorkeling byboat. But Curaco is good to but Curaçao has the bluest water I've ever seen.

I just can't believe you would leave out Bonaire. All divers know it is the best in this hemisphere. Best for snorkelers too..A safe Dutch island, totally protected reef and nicest locals in the world..

Here in Cyprus we have those helmets where you can walk under the sea on the sea bed -(No dive experience required!)
