When shooting in 30fps the camera is not downsampling from 6k to 4k anymore. Furthermore it's croping in, compared to 24 fps. Just wanted to let you know. Might be an important fact for some people.

the only video i needed. most video settings out there are for cinematic videos but only this video seemed to catered for vlogging. finally got my exposure right without buying an ND FILTER!!! you just saved me $300

*still want to get an ND Filter at some point, trust me it's worth it. Just remember which lens you use the most. I just got an ND Filter for my Sigma 16mm *

I am currently using the standard 16-50mm kit lens. Does a good job. Not super wide but it gets the job done. I have not tried shutter priority yet. I traditionally keep it on manual with auto ISO.

Guys this video is worthy!! I was having an issue when blogging. My videos blurry and dark when moving, I was using the wrong shutter speed based on the fps I was using and thanks to this video I figured that out. Great video. I changed all my settings to the settings you showed here and even though I don’t have a wide angle len I’m getting great quality video

white balance. did I miss it or did you forget it? I think it is also very important as a basic setting. some of my videos were blueish and then orangeish. anyway, thanks for the great video.

Great video. I still own this camera in 2024. The problem I have is the rolling shutter you get even when you use native lenses with OSS. Is there a way to overcome this? Or a lens that reduces it when using the a6400? Thanks

Thanks, just what I needed, just got this in the mail and setting it up today for a zoom board meeting on Tuesday, it will be paired with a Samsung S9 plus going through a Roland Vr-1HD Video switcher. I hesitated getting it because no in body stabilization but the A6500 and A6600 had no flash, being new to cameras I needed this.

From the video, it looks like you’re using a base rig which is how the mic was relocated to the side, but the link shows a cold shoe relocation mount. Can you share which base rig you’re using as I would like to keep the hot shoe available. Thanks!

Why my a6400 goes like "Touch Tracking is not allowed with this settings: File Format XAVC S 4K".... Why if I turn down to HD resolution it goes, and with 4K it doesn't let me turn it on? Please Help (I tried also different lens) (I'm trying to record 30p 100M, Shutter speed 1/60.... )

Ok fix it! For who had that "problem", check your proxy settings, turn them off.
