I fitted probably one of Fuel's cheapest exhausts to my 2021 AT & haven't looked back. I had an engine light from a failed exhaust valve servo, and the servo would have cost me £750 for the part, so I had the servo eliminator dongle fitted, and the servo removed, the valve taken out & the Fuel end can put on, plus a full set of Outback Mototech crash bars put on & the whole thing with parts & labour cost me just £850. I've got a better exhaust sound, and eliminated something that could have gone wrong again if replaced, and I've got my bike protected from drops like a tank. Love it. 😀

Sounds exactly like something that I would do. I’m so impressed with Fuel, I don’t think anything compares.

Yep sounds nice. Exhausts on bikes is like being the Max Power kid I never was with my Renault 5.

Yes agreed, sounds awesome in the flesh.

Second Africa twin but never had a fuel exhaust it does sound bloody good 👍

I’ve had all the exhausts, have a scroll through my videos. Trust me, Fuel is the best sounding.

Excellent video! Loved the looks of the Termi but like you thought it was overpriced and not much more bark to it. Ive got the same bike but DTC also from Lee / Andy @Miles Kingsport, Ive added quite a few extras now to mine to get it how I want it- just a few more jobs left to do. I ended up going with an end can from Ali Express and very happy with it. I totally agree with you that the Fuel one on yours sounds great!! The AT is a very versatile machine and looks beautiful! I also have the matching bottom engine protection bars spare if you are after some as Ive just bought black ones top and bottom 👍🏍🏍👍
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
The Termi looks the biz but damn, it sounds too quiet! Yea the lads at MK are ace, I love them all! Sounds like your bike is a cracker, love to see it. Why don’t you buy a lovely Termi end can, I know someone selling one 😉

I found the link pipe dulled the throttle a bit. Without the baffle it hurts my ears. Any way to reduce it slightly without going too soft on the baffle? Great video. Tks
@mid.bike.crisis10 күн бұрын
I’m not sure you can buddy, maybe just ride with the baffle in.

Nice sound, but the Arrow is just as good, and they have heritage together with Dakar. Part number 72625AO. Give it a go. That blood parrot is awesome. We have a 450 litre tank with Geophagus South American fish. Love your work 👍👍

I’ll take a look at that as well, thanks for the recommendation. The blood parrot is crazy his nine years old and always attacking himself in the reflection LOL thanks for watching and supporting my channel. I really appreciate that.

Sounds really good but do you need the aesthetic? The TA exhaust has an aesthetic that is in harmony with the bike as a total package. Listen to your wife's TA. It is in keeping with the sweet bike. Changing the exhaust on the TA isn't necessary and might even be a step backwards. The TA is already cool.
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
The TA sounds sweet as standard, I love it and my loves it more. The Fuel exhaust is on my Africa Twin, transforms the bike.

The ECU light came on with the full Akro system. You’ll have no trouble with the Fuel end can.

Thanks for sharing! Off topic, are those the OEM upper crash bars? do theyfully protect the side fairings or is more coverage needed? About to purchase an AT and trying to decide on whether to go OEM or aftermarket.
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
You don’t get any crash protection with the bike as standard. I opted for the Honda ones as they’re tried and tested by Honda. These ones protect all the expensive bits. I wouldn’t install any more unless you’re ragging it off road.
@thodoris3790Ай бұрын
what about the transalp?can you put an exhaust to that also?

@jmac7997Ай бұрын
just curious if that exhaust will eventually need to have the packing replaced, or does it create that amazing sound through baffles?
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
Just got a reply back from Fuel. Yes it will need the packing replaced. We recommend every 12k miles or 2 years, whichever is soonest. We have many customers who never repack their exhaust and have no issues however it is best practice and will add to the longevity of the exhaust. Check out this blog which explains more. www.fuelexhausts.com/blog/repacking-resleeving-motorcycle-exhausts

Hello, good noise ;-) But you remove the exhaust servo motor by the same use on the CBR ? (the Healtech ES Eliminator)
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
There is no exhaust servo motor on the 2024 Africa twin, if you have an older model simply remove the servo and the cables and install the can. No need to remap the bike at all.
@AidanDuggan-y5fАй бұрын
Any noticeable change in torque or power for better or worse with this exhaust ? Thanks
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
More responsive mid range. This is my third Fuel exhaust, it’s a proper bit of kit.
@AfricaTwinRiderАй бұрын
Did you select 350 or 400mm???
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
400mm Midi size. The 350mm is a bit louder (I had that model before).

But a cheap sticker on the pipe , you said you hated cheap pipe stickers
@mid.bike.crisis6 сағат бұрын
Unfortunately Fuel don’t use badges or laser engraving so this will do. The pure epic sound 100% makes up for it Paul 👌
@B2C2007Ай бұрын
"Too quiet". I wonder why they did that?
@mid.bike.crisisАй бұрын
I know why as you do but as bikers we like something with a little more grunt. There are plenty of brands of cars with really loud (probably too loud) stock exhausts so why can’t bikes have a little more 🤏
