Something to do with the exhaust manifold design being different to the twin scroll one on the E which for some reason makes the C actually sound better. I find the E is the better performer out of the box being all wheel drive and twin scroll bigger turbo's + a better interior but the C63s (coupe in particular) wins on sound and exterior styling in my opinion, it's the more aggressively styled car.

While I can appreciate how good this system sounds, saying AMG makes the OEM exhaust restrictive by going from larger to smaller diameter piping is highly misleading. As you're going along the length of an exhaust pipe, reducing the diameter slowly actually helps maintain the speed of the exhaust gasses as they cool. Hot gas takes up more volume (more pressure), so as it cools (pressure & volume decreasing), you decrease the internal volume of the piping to maintain the same flow rate. That aside, sounds great!

amazing sound ! noticed something interesting. was that car seats changed from the ones initially came with the car ? you have the backet /race seat but still have the ventilated seat bottom on the door. which is usually only a feature on the comfort seats

The first edition came with carbon fiber Racing seats. I’m not sure about the options for those seats. I have a 2018 and mine are comfort seats. Couldn’t imagine the car with out them their dreamy!

Mercedes always had better sound over BMW get over it Bruh. I have Mercedes GL500 x166 4.7 V8 Bi-Turbo cat delete, down-pipes, resonator delete, muffler Hamann GLE63s style with valve system. My car is louder then this E63s cracks pops bangs you can find it on my channel its 126db at idle revving. Unfortunately BMW will never sound better then Mercedes exhaust this is just the way the BMW engines are built.
