BEST SOUNDING CATLESS Mustang 5.0 Exhaust Setup (CRAZY LOUD) Corsa Pro Resonators

PLEASE USE HEADPHONES AND NOT A PHONE SPEAKER, theres lots of low frequencies. My double X pipe with muffler delete was nearly perfect before, but it was a little bit rough around the edges. The tone was great up top, but below 3k, it either sounded like a tractor or a clapped truck, depending on the rpm. These Corsa resonators really cleaned up the sound but left 90 percent of the loudness. It still has some frequencies I don't really like to much, but for catless, it's one of the best I've heard. I didn't want to go with the Catless Corsa Extremes because when they are on these cars, they eliminate all the depth of the exhaust note to reduce drone. This ends up making the car sound like a 3.7 Mustang with an x pipe, IMO. It's not a bad thing. I just wanted depth up top, but for it to be slightly raspy still, like some other V8s on the market.
It is still "race car loud," so it might not be suitable as a daily driver. Cold start is still insanely loud, and the drone makes my passengers nauseous (I don't mind drone though).
It's OK EPA, the cats went on right after this video was made.😉
Yes I know. Its very loud. The "quiet car purists" are usually loudest ones in the comment section :/

This is different for everyone.
Some people hear the loudness and automatically have a negative opinion, that's OK it's not for everyone. If you want a mild this setup is definitely not for you. Even if your area isn't strict with loud cars, you might get pulled over still. Audio wise, I used my phone mic for all the clips.
Probably going to remake a video of this setup once it gets warmer.

yes please, I have ARH Catted Headers to Corsa Extremes with double H and I'm trying to decide whether to go catless or not. Your videos have been somewhat helpful but I still am uncertain how much tone I will lose when removing them. Obviously I will say this about my own car but being around so many other modded s550s for the last few years I can say I have the best sounding I've heard in person at least. I initially had the double X and have been back and forth just like you, but I want to keep the deeper tone with my H but increase the sound a bit. Any input?

​@WatchYogurt I'm gonna buy the parts for the swap tn. Just some band clamps. And yea your gonna loose some tone unless you have a super toned exhaust already. But corsa extreme with double H or what I have and you'll probably notice. I'm curious to how it sounds also with the H so we will see.

I appreciate your quest in perfecting the sound. We had it so good in 2004 and then everything went to crap sound wise. It's why i'm still hunting for a 351 and not a coyote-- I bet a good sbf with the perfect note turns heads faster than any coyote, including the flat plane. That's just my opinion.

At some point the big NA motors just get too loud and sound too much like "loudness", they lose their characteristics and tone. I think this one is a bit too much, and even though this sounds good for an Xpipe, I almost always prefer Hpipes.
