This is definitely interesting for me especially with the sound quality and the option for connection via the dongle. I do have a question though did the Jlabs come with some rubber to put on the buds (what they usually put with their buds for a more comfortable fit) and how is the base/bass of the buds?

Finally, JLab earbuds can actually block sound when you make or take calls. And the sound itself is real good. Wish JLab had done this years ago.

Jlab entering the high-end earbuds market reminds me of what Tozo did with the Golden X1 not very long ago. When I picked those up, I honestly didn't expect the type of quality sound they present. Hopefully, Jlab can pull this off as well or even better improve upon what Tozo was able to deliver.

The Call quality sounds so good it almost makes me doubt if it is really the audio from the earbuds. It would be great if you could do more in-depth testing of ANC and call quality in real life locations like a metro station or by the side of a road with cars passing by.

So how is the sound quality compared to the likes of the Beoplay EX, BnW Pi7 s2 or the MTW3? Im curious since i subscribe to Tidal Hi Plus, I'm hoping these can deliver on the lossless audio part. Also, these sound amazing...so why is no one else reviewing them?

It looks like a protective measure not to blow their launch; in fact you can’t add your personal review anywhere including Amazon citing « too many reviews and verified buyers only »… But let’s see if they take down my first impression review: Comparing them to Beoplay and BnW is surely not fair but comparing to Liberty 4nc or App2 is. Epic is as good as Liberty 4nc yet at twice the price Epic is close to App2 but like all other can’t really compete in ambient and calls but again which does… Same with noise canceling where XM5 and Bose top the category… To summarize Epic’s good at everything and like all others doesn’t lead on anything. So try them as Epic’s success will depend on individual preference

The only reason I say this is because I've talked directly to someone who works at JLab about these buds, and they said they've reached out, but it's basically pay to play, which they didn't want to participate in. To keep it real, I was apprehensive at first, but I absolutely think these are top 5 in terms of overall quality and sound, regardless of price. I own the Beoplay EX, Pi7 s2, Status 3ANC, MTW3, Bose QC2, APP2, az70, az60, etc etc, and these stand toe to toe with all of them. I cannot think of a set more deserving of the hype than these right here, and it's a damn shame that no one is covering them. Not that I need a KZbinr to validate my opinion, but it's stuff like this,when stuff that's technically refined and revolutionary, doesn't get any attention, that we suffer as consumers. A company puts out a quality product at a competitive price, and just because they don't want to pay for air play, they don't get attention. It sucks, and probably acts as a deterrent for other companies to not put themselves out there. TL:Dr, everyone should get these. For some reason, they randomly drop down to $100 every once in a while, which is a stupid price.

"When you put it down, its going to stay down"....so you have gravity there too?! 😂😂 I just hope Jlab really deliver on these and they aren't all hype like the Soundcore Motion X600 😢 Currently rocking the Technics Eah-az60's, which are superb! Looking to upgrade, so the new Technics Eah-AZ80's are an obvious choice....but there are peaking my interest. On the whole a great initial review but waiting for more reviews and availability via Amazon. I just hope that Jlab haven't paid for favourable reviews 🤔🙄 I hope not! Would love to know what they are like to workout in and if they suffer foot reverb noise when you walk or run?.... Thanks for the great content 👍 😊

The minute I saw this from Jlab, I went straight to Amazon and purchased them. All of the Jlab earbuds I own have been 💯% reliable and delivered exactly as advertised. The looks of these give the impression of quality. I really like the vents on the sides, and the aluminum case screams coolness. Plus, the sound quality examples made my otherwise crappy-sounding 1More Comfobuds Pro sound great. 🤣

How would you compare the anc to other popular brands like apple, sony, and bose?

Bose and Sony have great anc and frankly it would be hard for anyone to compete with Sony sound signature. But the value here is best of the best of jlab. They are multipoint, and support usbc connectivity. Sony and boss don't. They also have wireless charging. They are also 1st gen in this class. With all this being said I never expected this type of earbud from them given the price point they typically operate in.

@@ebpmanI've tried the Bose QC 2 earbuds and was impressed by the ANC. Problem was the sound signature was way too muddy for me. Haven't tried the Sony buds, but I'm not a fan of the sound signature from the wh headphones so it it is similar in the buds, I'm not so sure I'd go for them. It looks like jlab has a pretty decent EQ so I can always tailor it to my preferences What I'm really trying to gauge is how the ANC compares to the wf 1000xm5 earbuds. I imagine it is worse, but knowing how it compares to those would be really helpful in making a purchase decision. So my question is in normal everyday use, just for the ANC alone, how much worse is it than the other offerings?

I believe the flagship Sony earbuds now offer multi-point on their latest cans and earbuds via a recent firmware update 👍🏽

I still think the edifier 330nb is still one of the best call noise quality test I have ever heard on your channel... these did just as good..

I recently acquired these earbuds as a potential replacement for my beloved B&O EQs. While I hold the B&Os in high regard, their battery life has significantly diminished after several years of use, lasting only about 30 minutes anymore. Seeking an alternative without breaking the bank, I came across these earbuds. They proved to be an excellent choice, especially after customizing the EQ settings to my preferences. Unlike many other audio products, these earbuds offer remarkable flexibility in sound customization. Although the app may be somewhat slow in implementing changes, the overall experience is highly satisfactory. Next day update: Unfortunately, I had to return them. There was a bad issue with the connection. The sound started randomly skipping. Looked like a buffering issue. Pausing and restarting would help. Sometimes. Sometimes nothing would help besides disconnecting and reconnecting. They sound pretty good, especially considering the price, but this issue was too bad to give it a pass. Especially considering the price. Fortunately, I had Status Between 3ANC on order arriving the next day. And I'm definitely keeping these. The sound is a league above, no issues and almost half the price (on sale).

I think they're pretty greedy. I have a pair of jbl tune earbuds with exceptional sound and base. for $99. I could get 2 pair for this onem

Is there anything available that you could compare these to sound-quality wise? I have a decent amount of high-end earbuds and I'd like to try to get a feel for these before they show up (Nov. 27th - Dec. 7th). Thanks!

At this price point lots of competition. You will lose some features like the usb c, some may not have the spatial audio too. Soundcore has the liberty 4, sennheiser CX true wireless cheeper but you will again lose some features but they sound great, between (love these),, 1more Evo, etc.
