Isn't too bad. He doesn't let the clutch hold on. As long as you 'launch' the clutch off in 1 hit it won't matter alot. Although, don't do this all day long ghehe

+Matticus Finch No, how you figure? He has a Goldwing, and if you can afford a good used Wing, you can afford any number of used Harleys. He obviously made the choice out of desire, not poverty. Maybe he likes a smooth motor you can put 2-300k miles on, as opposed to a rattly acute-angle v-twin. Maybe he doesn't give a toss to be like the same old Harley clones with their Harley-branded helmets, jackets, boots, gloves and t-shirts. Why are you so hard the Goldwing? What do you have to prove, and to who? If raw power is what your after, buy a Suzuki Hayabusa or a speed bike. The Goldwing powerful engine is for pulling a heavy loads with a passenger at highway speeds, and acceleration, not for drag racing and shooting fire out the tail pipes. Keep burning rubber off the line, and you will be visiting a mechanic real soon. From one Goldwing owner to another, "Thats just Dumb".

+tracerxy no, the goldwing was introduced as the flagship of Hondas fleet as a big long distance tourer, the engine was designed for long distance touring so was high torque low revs rather than for performance, despite it having chain drive, originally it was deigned to have shaft drive and no one designed a performance machine with shaft drive
