Best Sounding Google Smart Display - JBL Link View vs Google Nest Hub Max

There are only two real contenders for the title of Best Sounding Google Smart Display; the JBL Link View and the Nest Hub Max. I test them head-to-head to see which one sounds the best, and while I'm at it, which is the best overall.

Excellent video. I own three jbl's and I thought because of my music taste it was the better choice . I tend to like heavier bass. However when I tested the max I was in best buy and I don't think that was a fair way to compare the audio. I have my jbls set up as a part of an music group in my home and that works awesome. You mentioned the Max can connect via Bluetooth but you said speakers. Did you mean it can connect to multiple speakers at the same time via bBluetooth? Last but not least I am interested in the security/ recognition the max offers. Can you do a video on the max covering this features? Thanks for this video!

Hello! When I say the Max can connect to Bluetooth speakers, I only mean that it can connect to speakers that support Bluetooth. It can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. Hope this helps!

Good review, it's worth noting that the JBL Link View is much cheaper and although you were primarily reviewing the audio experience, the Nest Hub Max offers more timely updates and has a much better screen for the extra money. I'm not disappointed with my Link View screen because it's perfectly adequate for what I use it for but it's not much good for video.

Thank you for your comment! I feel the same way about my Link View. It's perfectly adequate, however the Nest Hub Max is better at everything. At the time I was doing the research for this video the Nest Hub Max was also less expensive than the Link View, giving it a firm win in every category, which is why I ended up recommending it. I don't regret buying the Link View at the time that I bought it, but I would never recommend it over the Nest Hub Max in today's market.

@@isitgoodreviews4095 interesting about the price difference. Here in Australia if I compare the best prices I can find, the Max is $130AU more which makes the View very competitive. That said, I still think the Max might be worth it, that's why I was looking for a review like this.
