Best Speced Watch Under £100 From Aliexpress or Anywhere ! ( boderry BDA001 urban review 2020 )

So a watch which has a skeleton movement, 28,800BPH, 72 hour power reserve, automatic , Sapphire crystal you would think i was looking at some luxury watch in 4 figures. Well what if i said it only cost me £89..... Watch in question being the Boderry BDA001. Have a watch and see if you agree with me ;)
I'm going to say now this was an impulse buy just on the price and the specs of the watch. The looks were a bonus. I have also tested this way on my timergraph and it is running amazing (see video). They also do a proper dialed version along with titianium version in both models if you fancy something a bit lighter. It is basically a mash up of
Rolex, Omega and Tudor design ques with a skeleton movement to boot which i personally love :)

Got the watch today from AliExpress and the review is spot on. My clasp has no play, under a loupe a touch of excess paint on the 60 cutouts which came off no sweat. Hands are hard to read, and crown end is naff. Should have been an all silver crown, but for money a fantastic watch looking 10x the price.

The Titanium version is a better deal. Don't get me wrong, the SS ver is incredibly-specc'd for the price (Esp. considering its HZ movement actually has a 72hr power reserve) But considering how much Titanium watches tend to go for, the Boderry in Titanium would be better bang-for-buck. I think most people would go for the Titanium instead, I know I would. Good on you lad. You are the 2nd channel to review the Boderry after No1Viper.

See i just like the wait, also you don't get the bracelet with the Titanium. However might have a look at the Titanium one in the feature you never no. However i do agree that is the better deal, but for under £100. Think this watch is king ;)

Great review, thanks. It's incredible value when you consider it's a high performance mechanical movement. Looks are subjective but I've seen far far worse at 50x the price! I don't buy overpriced watches so will certainly be considering this one for it's looks, value and sensible size.

You even showed the same colourway that I have ordered. I think the yellow hands stand out and are much easier to read than the other three options. This looks NOTHING like a Roger Dubuis Excaliber. The bezel looks like a Rolex Explorer, the brand font and skeletisation from Hublot , the metal bracelet from a submariner, the colorblocking from Richard Mille. To even compare this to a Roger Dubuis is blasphemy.

Cracking! My biggest concern with this watch was how rubbish the movement is. But you put it in the timegrapher and it performs waaaaay better than I expected. I'm seriously considering to order the grey version. Not sure if in SS or Ti. Thanks for this superb review!

It's spec'd, not speced. Anyway, what incredible value. I am not a great lover of skeleton watches, but sapphire crystal, high beat movement, 72 hours power reserve, and a 316L case, that's amazing. I just hate the BODERRY logo on the dial.

Great review from a lesser known watch brand. 40 mm good, a legible skeleton I can read, probably more WR and screw down crown to seal the deal.

From the pictures it looks like the yellow version, you are showing, and the red hands version are more visible than the others. Easier to see where the hands are.

Bought the titanium version. Stuck in china for 2 months ☹️. The store mentioned the bracelet from steel version does not fit the titanium watch. But seeing your and viper review the band width is 20mm for both.

Don't see why it shouldn't fit, cases look the same shape just the material. And shipping was quick for me, but guess it depends where you are to when it's delivered.

Well funny enough you can get this movement from a German watch company in a more dress watch style. Thing is they want 450 euros for it...... The movement has been ip coated in blue but does that justify an extra £350. But only time will tell if the movement will last :)
