I think(it’s what I use it for) Cruelclaw’s heist is in the midrange sideboard because it thoughtsiezes control, but also against the midrange mirror (specifically a often times grindier golgari) it helps you actually out grind them.

Bo1 has always had a problem with Red Deck Wins. The answer is Bo3

​@@Arstallnot always. There have been plenty of standards where only one red deck existed. Sure, that one was very strong most of the time. But this is the first time in standard that 4-5 top decks all use the same red core. At least from how far back i can remember. 2017 or so.

@@questionyourself718 Yeah I guess it depends on how you define "problem". An archetype always being in the top 3 seems problematic to me. Compared to bo3, where it comes in and out of the top 3 like other archetypes

Recently I played orzhov midrange and faced Dimir midrange. Kaito was very good against my Liliana, as he was drawing every turn, I could not use the discard plan effectively. Good card in midrange matchup I believe.

Yeah I think the midrange matchup is where Kaito shines as well. Where Golgari can sideboard into Baloth, there's less of a great answer to Kaito

All I’ve been playing in BO1 is control again. It’s across every color at this point but green. It’s either Red Agg or Control. Zero parity. Kill everything, win by turn 3-4 or lose. Rabbits is obsolete

Mono-Black Skeletons is still a viable deck. The spots 4-8 are all pretty close and rotate in and out of the top 8. I think Mono-Black Skeletons was #9 this week. Maybe there were more Bunnies than the previous week

This is high maintenance, but could you please craft the 4th matching copy of Monastery Swiftspear? It always triggers me 😂. Love your videos! The Niners absolutely dominated at the line of scrimmage. Pretty sure you guys will get your revenge on my Eagles if we meet in the playoffs again 😅

Some of these complaints I don’t understand. Like of course aggro is going to be good in BO1, that’s kinda the point. Aggro smashes you in game one and in game 2 you smash them when you tech for their strategy and finally in game 3 you actually have a real game of Magic 😂

Golgari not top tier anymore?

Domain surviving the triomes rotating was really bad news for Golgari. It's solidly part of the rock paper scissors in bo3 though and is arguably well positioned since it is favored against the most popular pick right now, Gruul Aggro. The 2nd most common is Dimir Midrange, which is a counter to Domain, and 3rd is Domain. So if we see Domain chased out of the top 3 most popular archetypes it'll help Golgari. As far as the Bo3 ladder on arena, last I checked Domain was the 2nd most popular after Golgari Midrange. Hope that helps answer your question :)

MASSIVELY REDUCE the effectiveness of extraordinarily high value discarding spells, there's way way way too many insane discard effects with not enough speed reduction or more realistic mana costs for all these bullshit discards that are uncounterable

@@Arstall I just thought at the beginning of the formate focus on bo1 is fine. However as the time progress the bo1 meta felt stale but bo3 meta has grown massive and maybe it deserves more of your time.
