My one gripe with specifically Fell in specifically this deck is that it could just be a Terminate for instant speed, or a Dreadbore for planeswalkers. There's only one land that doesn't tap for red, so if you have a second land, you are guaranteed to be able to pay the red. Unless you're trying to dodge Null Elemental Blast, which I don't think Eldrazi plays, and I don't think they would against a deck with mostly monocolour cards.

the decklist that is going around is currently running nethergoyf instead of the 2 breaches, a land, and the third ox. nethergoyf becomes absolutely huge for only 1 mana and its another synergy with how much you're discarding

Am I crazy for thinking that terminate is a better choice than fell for the sideboard? Modern doesn't really struggle with mana fixing, so I don't see why you wouldn't run otherwise strictly better spot removal.

Round four, when you use Arena of Glory to escape an Ox - if you spend one mana from the arena and one mana from another land, you can float the other mana from arena until after you draw three, which would have let you play the Hollow One also with haste (or another Flameblade) if you drew it, which you then did. I think this would have made the difference as you get 4 more in (or they sac the spawn) and you can then kill with a Bolt.

I'm playing this currently in modern. My list is a little different. I'm running rootwallas to hedge against bad burning inquiries. I'm not all in on inti fitting the deck. The counter and trample definitely can matter. I'm testing cabal initiate in the 2 drop slot with being a repeatable discard outlet. Also testing insult//injury against the one ring. Double damage also feels like it can speed the deck up. Surgicals and rakdos charms in the board for graveyards and a little utility

@@nickthejackOh you're right. I don't know why I thought there was enough damage there. And yes leaving either alive would lose because the jailer would grow from 2/6 to a 4/8 because two creatures would die. So it was a losing spot
