I get the impression they wrote the last episode of the Mandalorian and this episode and last episode of the Book of Boba Fett to avoid Boba Fett running into Luke Skywalker. Would be an awkward meeting, although, I figure Boba Fett would let the issue drop and be water under the bridge fairly quickly. On the other hand, jedi killed his father, so I could see him immediately drawing his EE-3 and start blasting and they would have to fight for a bit before coming to a truce. Either way, makes for some more interesting plot they could use in this show.

The man's a better writer than Lucas ever was. Lucas was an idea man, someone great at big picture narratives and world-building but bad at most everything else. But get Filoni as a writer and Bryce Dallas Howard as a director and the film we'd get would be pretty damn good. And of course have Kevin Feige on board to make sure things fit together properly and there's no in-fighting between creatives.

Ahsoka knows how dangerous attachments are for Jedi. Anakin fell to the dark side because he was too attached to the people around him. She wasn’t stopping mando from seeing Grogu, she was just giving advice based on what she saw first hand.

I agree completely. I also think he's preparing Grogu to accept that his loved ones are someday going to die and leave him. Luke is training him to have attachments and draw strength from them, but to not let the fear of losing those attachments destroy him (like it did to Anakin). Basically he'll give Grogu both items eventually, but has a lesson to teach Grogu with each one.

This episode was AMAZING!!Its the best for sure of any Star Wars show made by Disney. But the thing with Luke and especially Ashoka cause she was properly taught you said “how do you know” but if anyone would knows sadly it would be her😢😭she was there front and center of Anakin turning evil cause of his attachments it seems like a dumb rule but it’s true same with Superman look what happens whenever Louise dies. I hope he choices the lightsaber cause him like yoda lives so long his responsibility is now to the teaching and holding the knowledge of the Jedi order like the wills told yoda near the end of the clone wars,on top of all that we already seen Grogu have a dark side he was tossing those storm troopers around the room and he tried to choke out Cara dune just for arm wrestling with Din.

He's _got_ to at least learn how to handle/deal with loss. Because he ages so much differently. Loss of loved ones, friends, family, etc., learn how to let people go when they inevitably die, like Yoda tried teaching Anakin, instead of allowing his fear of loss to overwhelm him, because Grogu is going to see more people come and go than _anybody_ else would, in one lifetime. If he doesn't learn to properly handle loss, grief, and personal trauma, at the very minimum, because he's inherently going to be exposed to so many orders of magnitude more loss than the average person, over his lifetime, I mean, the outcome could turn out very disastrous indeed. Imagine a Sith Lord who naturally ages to over 900 years old, 900 years of people he loves, all dying before his time, imagine what that could do because he'd never been properly trained to deal with grief. I mean, If Anakin can be so easily manipulated by Palpatine simply by beginning his training as a Jedi at a little later age than usual, compared to most Jedi younglings in the Galaxy, as the Counsel would have preferred, just imagine what kind of damage someone of Grogu and Yoda's species would be capable of. Unless he's properly trained, most importantly to deal with any attachments he does cultivate in life, learns to let go of everything, and everyone, he fears to lose, "Rejoice for those around you who pass into the Force. Mourn them do not, miss them do not." it wouldn't be a good idea for the Galaxy, as a whole, sending him back out into the Universe. Whether he's with the Mandalorian or not. Of COURSE it's the decision that we all _hope_ he makes lol but, it's hardly the smarter, more sound, decision at all. (Kylo Ren's inevitable destruction of Luke's Jedi academy notwithstanding. Grogu could very well learn everything he needed, at least the necessities in order to be allowed to go free into the Galaxy, thus avoiding the calamity, by then.) And, there IS a perfect Grogu-sized compartment conveniently where the Astromech port used to be on The Mandalorian's new primary method of transportation, as well. That's actually the best piece of evidence I've seen, so far, that they're leaning in the direction of reuniting Grogu and Din Djarin again for season three, and maybe once and for all. As bad a decision as that might be, and despite what anybody wants to happen, either way. (I'm just sayin' ✌)

5:01 Fun fact: That is Sabermaster Cin Drallig in the Grogu flashback. He was an amazing instructor and the head of the Jedi Temple Guard. His live action in the prequels was played and inspired by Bob Anderson (he has a brief cameo duel with Anakin/Darth Vader during Order 66 when Obi-Wan is looking at the security footage of the fall of the temple.) Bob Anderson is a master swordsman and fencer and was the stunt choreographer of the Star Wars movies, The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, The Mask of Zorro and many more. Cin Drallig was actually a "boss" you had to fight in the Episode III videogame of Revenge of the Sith. The story is about how Vader kills him. Grogu's flashback actually showed the clones killing him which is an interesting change in the new Disney Canon. (Like, they could have almost showed Hayden in the background as Anakin if they really wanted to..)

I thought for sure we were gonna get a spit take when you saw Ahsoka! LoL Ahsoka once told Grogu, "I sense much fear in you." Seeing Mando's ship fly off without Mando coming to see him could cause that fear to turn to suspicion...like Luke and Ahsoka are trying to keep them apart. Or make Grogu bitter that Mando didn't want to see him. In their attempt to make things simple, the Jedi CONTINUALLY complicate things even further! I still kinda feel like the Jedi denying emotional connection has not worked out well for them and it's kinda unnatural. I get that they're supposed to be monks and shit but still.
