Wow! That is so cool. It was a cool places to visit. We live near Brantford Ontario here in Canada where Alexander Graham Bell made his first phone call from his Homestead. I'll have to do a video this summer to go with this one to show where he worked on his inventions here!

I enjoy the video a lot, We will be there in August 2023 (11 days PEI and 12 Days on Cabot trail only. We plan to do a mix of Golf and Hicking. I'm a sports photographer for living, but my passion is to take sea and landscapes and I think it will be a paradise for this.

We did the trail counterclockwise. My wife and I took a few detours to places like the 6 fishing villages and the Smokey Mountain gondola as the “money shot, ahhh” views weren’t as plentiful like we experienced on the Oregon or California coast, but we are both from Vancouver Island, BC and wanted to see our counterpart on the east coast.

Hi, will will be heading there this summer. Ferry will be stopping at Yarmouth. What is the best road to starts and drive on the Cabot trail? How many days do i need and best lodging to stay? Thank you.
@ThePlanetD11 ай бұрын
Yarmouth is in the south of Nova Scotia, so you will need to make your way north of Halifax. The road is one ring road that is easy to follow and there are options for BnBs, camping and some hotels. I would recommend 2-4 days for the Cabot Trail depending on how much hiking you want to do. Enjoy! Southern Nova Scotia is amazing as well. We have another video that highlights the South Shore from Yarmouth to Halifax and includes Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6Hbi4CBe6ykmqc&pp=ygUWdGhlcGxhbmV0ZCBub3ZhIHNjb3RpYQ%3D%3D

My husband and I are heading there next month. What are accommodations like?
@ThePlanetD5 ай бұрын
There is a mix of accommodations. Most are rustic and more like motels. There is camping and O’tentics that you can book through Parks Canada and there is more luxury at the Keltic Lodge. There are also some lovely cabins rentals and apartment stays.

Great video, but just an update to the Uisge Ban falls, the first 80% is easy trails but the last 20% is quite rugged, crawling over boulders and tree roots. The roads into the Provincial park are quite rough in spots and you are in a remote area
@ThePlanetD2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the update. I guess we didn't make it to the last 20% :)

Really awesome video guys. What time of the year were you guys there? I just moved from California to Toronto. I wanna do this drive over a week. I am concerned about more people in summer, trails being crowded, hotels being booked. Yellowstone national park just had 458k visitors just alone in May 2021. Hope this area is not that crowded.
