What gives the throwers such beefy arms? Is it the throwing that builds it or is it lifting? I'm a powerlifter but would like to add a thick arms to go with it.

Hi. I do a very unknown throwing sport called Tournament Casting. Casting lead weights with powerful beach rods distances up to and around 260-270 metres on a good day. Been watching a lot of your vids and think theres a lot of cross over between jav, shot and discus etc to distance casting. A lot of top guys doing a bit of training now to to improve and take very seriously. If you can have a look see what disicpline you coach has the closest cross over?

Hey! I've got an inguinal hernia with surgery about a year ago and I can't squat deep since then anymore. That's why I had to give up to Powerlifting :( However this opened my eyes for shot putting which works absolutely fine as I can still (bulgarian) split squat and half squat. Of course, full squats would be great but as its not competition excercise there is no ned to do It. There is always an alternative except to throwing if you're a thrower... so keep your head up! :)

@@johannesschaf1301 I do seated leg press but after every workout I double check just to make sure I haven't ripped the mesh. I do the max on the machine, 400 pounds. Would not be able to do that much on squats, but it is better than nothing.

Hell yeah if you get your full down, I went to highschool with a little Mexican dude who was 5'6 and threw around 150 feet
