Does he make you do the sprinters workout?

@@drwe57 We lost our throws coach a couple years back. We had a talk with our coach so it's all good now. But before we used to do 4 laps warmup (along with the rest of the team) and 200-400m repeats as workouts.

If your only a thrower I wouldn't do sprints over 80 yards. But it's not an excuse not to run just be doing shorter sprints

Not trying to be weird but if your in Colorado I could help you out with throwing

this year at my school, we have the typical fall sports in between the winter and spring seasons. do you think running cross country before the spring season would negatively affect me?
@Al.j.Vasquez3 жыл бұрын
Wheni was a rookie i only saw good improvements after my coach gave up on me and left me alone, no more 10 laps before i even touched the implement, which lead to actually improve my technique and my distance. I had to watch KZbin videos to gain actual knowledge about rotational technique.

Yea my grades were bad first semester so my coach doesn’t ever coach me. I have to teach myself how to do stuff and find out what i’m doing wrong myself, which is pretty hard since i’m not used to the movement and can’t get outsiders perspective

Would you recommend long distance jogs of about 2 to 5 miles in the off-season?
@ThrowsUniversity3 жыл бұрын
We do not recommend running over a mile for any thrower, but the offseason would be the best time to do it, if you feel inclined.
