Hi Maria, I agree with you regarding Nicolai fragrances but two that I adore & wear a lot are Fig Tea in springtime & Cap Neroli in summer 💜

Wow I LUV that thumbnail and vid quality Maria. 😍 Very well done. I know what you mean by that rotting mango smell though. 😄 Worse still if it's super hot and humid outside. 🤢 Incidentally layered Guerlain's Homme L'eau Boisee with Jo's Rhubarb today and it's been limey rhubarb goodness all morning. Shame they discontinued both since the latter was one of the better and more affordable rhubarb fragrances I've tried. I will say that fruit accords are tricky to get right in perfume since they can easily come off as flavouring, shampoo or soap fragrances, but I do enjoy the blackcurrant in Enchanted Forest. 💜 Of course, some accords are done well and then stifled by the rest of the scent, so that always a shame. A wonderful selection overall!

It's weird how I have noticed I prefer different fruits to smell of than to eat. I love to eat strawberries, raspberries, melons, mangos, kiwi but I don't like them in fragrance at all. In frags I prefer citrus fruits, lemon and yuzu especially. And pear, blackcurrants, figs. I don't actually eat pears, apples, plums or any stone fruit, except canned peaches, as they all give me really bad stomach. I did the fodmap exclusion diet for IBS and found a lot of fruits and veggies I can't really tolerate or only small portions thereof
