Great trip, Jason. That was some fine use of a conventional topo map and a finger. I love it! Great views from your camp. Sleeping in ants would drive me crazy! Awesome that you have that spot all to yourself. Lovely sunrise! Way to go on the self rescue. Well done. Have a great day.

Jon and I camped up here back in November. I had never been up there. You're right--it's AWESOME. Some killer views for sure. Just be sure to pack up your water and be prepared to hunt for firewood!

Hey Jason, I’ve said it many times but that Red River Gorge area looks like such an awesome place to hike. It’s great hiking with a group of buddies but sometimes the solitude of solo adventuring is just what the soul needs to refresh but you need to be a little extra cautious not to get injured. Beautiful sunrise to wake up to. Good stuff ! Enjoy your time in the Whites next week.

Nice, awesome solo trip. Little more work, but worth it. Those little bastard ants got you, that must've sucked. Cool little camp sites. Your story of hurting your right foot reminded me from a couple weeks ago when I thought I was gonna be helicoptered out... not a good feeling. Great video, enjoyed it. Didn't know the name, but was out there once. Camp sites taken, so back tracked to near the intersection of RR and Rough Trail to camp. Beautiful area. Thanks for sharing.

Did it this past Wednesday set up camp in the 1st spot in your video then hiked to Grays Arch. The map you recommended was great, caught the sunrise in the morning and hiked back out to start the trip back to New Hampshire. Thanks for the recommendation

I did pinch em tight rush ridge loop with Hansens point last Sunday. We enjoyed those views on rush ridge. First I've heard of corrosion cove...i know I'm gonna hit that up. Was at stargap yesterday ,had it all to myself ! I enjoy your videos , hope to run into ya at the gorge 😊
