Dag gone, Backpacking with Jason sounds dangerous! Ants, broken feet!! More work solo but a rewarding experience when that is what you need! Super cool spot. We loved our one hike in the RRG!!

Such an awesome little trail! Love the name of Pinch-Em-Tight road…. There must be an interesting story behind that haha! Beautiful views along the way and SO WORTH IT for that sunrise! You’re right, wouldn’t want to wake up any other way!

Great trip, Jason. That was some fine use of a conventional topo map and a finger. I love it! Great views from your camp. Sleeping in ants would drive me crazy! Awesome that you have that spot all to yourself. Lovely sunrise! Way to go on the self rescue. Well done. Have a great day.

Jon and I camped up here back in November. I had never been up there. You're right--it's AWESOME. Some killer views for sure. Just be sure to pack up your water and be prepared to hunt for firewood!

Hey Jason, I’ve said it many times but that Red River Gorge area looks like such an awesome place to hike. It’s great hiking with a group of buddies but sometimes the solitude of solo adventuring is just what the soul needs to refresh but you need to be a little extra cautious not to get injured. Beautiful sunrise to wake up to. Good stuff ! Enjoy your time in the Whites next week.

That looks like sweet place to hang a hammock. I also am going to be adding this to my growing list of places to visit this summer/fall. Between you and RVA Hikergirl, I have enough new places to keep me busy for a while. I definitely have to get back to a place called the Sand Cave this year. Cheers on the video.🤙

Nice, awesome solo trip. Little more work, but worth it. Those little bastard ants got you, that must've sucked. Cool little camp sites. Your story of hurting your right foot reminded me from a couple weeks ago when I thought I was gonna be helicoptered out... not a good feeling. Great video, enjoyed it. Hidden gem, indeed. Great views at corrosion cove. Oh, ant bites are horrible. Shouldn’t have that problem this backpacking trip.

Didn't know the name, but was out there once. Camp sites taken, so back tracked to near the intersection of RR and Rough Trail to camp. Beautiful area. Thanks for sharing.

What a great spot the views... Awesome. That was funny about the ants that ate you up once there while cowboy camping... Ouch on that ankle issue trying to hike out... Sounds so painful

It’s a great spot for the sunrise. You should check it out. You can put 1 tent really close to the overlook. Great camping area with awesome views. Have a great day Nicole

Did it this past Wednesday set up camp in the 1st spot in your video then hiked to Grays Arch. The map you recommended was great, caught the sunrise in the morning and hiked back out to start the trip back to New Hampshire. Thanks for the recommendation

The no net and tarp was so awesome. Just laying there in an awesome hammock 😁 and watching the stars. I’m still using a big net in the summertime though 😂🤣.

I did pinch em tight rush ridge loop with Hansens point last Sunday. We enjoyed those views on rush ridge. First I've heard of corrosion cove...i know I'm gonna hit that up. Was at stargap yesterday ,had it all to myself ! I enjoy your videos , hope to run into ya at the gorge 😊

Veranda is a different spot. Isn’t veranda out on the Star Gap area off of Auxier? I could be wrong though. Lol. Both places hardly have any wood. Lol. Have a fun weekend Mike

Stop advertising about hammock's it is a morgue position and is not so fucking comfortable I rather be on the ground than swinging hammock 😡

I sleep on my side in a hammock. I like tents too , but it’s hard not to sleep in a hammock. It’s like sleeping in the air.
