Best ‘SUV’ Under Rs 20 Lacs? Scorpio Z8 Select Diesel | First Drive

Its been nearly 1.5year since we bought this beast, and honestly speaking, literally 0 regret buying this BIG DADDY. We bought the Z8 Diesel Manual Variant in Black Color, Every time I drive this Car, it feels like driving a Tank with the lightest Steering. I've Endeavour Fortuner and Even X7 and GLS in my friend circle, but whenever the other guys drive the Scorpio, they say this Car should've been priced 3x than its actual price.

Sir i am mahindra customer from last 15 years its not about car only sir i generally experienced sir foreign brands are more concerned about comfort feature n more imp service experience my friend recently bought N z8 faces sunroof leakage issue n sterring problem n the company response was juz awful kept on heckling __ trust me u are investing 20 to 30 lac its not about one time its about building relation after sale with company thats very worst of mahindra n even tata too but when it comes to kia hundai honda they are far more better __ plz most of the indian youtubers esp autoindustry related work with brand n emphasis them upon service thats post buying relation is more imp ⭐️

There is space but it’s not as comfortable. For this very reason I bought XUV 700 over ScorpioN. I am 6’1 and XUV 700 felt more comfortable to me and for my family over ScorpioN. Btw I have a Thar as well and cramped space becomes an issue over long journeys.

Well, as people mentioned in the previous comments, I wanted to know whether choosing xuv 700 over the Scorpio N would be a good choice. Both the cars come from the same manufacturer and I have heard pretty good reviews on the XUV 700 as well. Though I agree that the latter has been more popular among people since a long time. But still XUV 700 attracts me more. And since coming from the same manufacturer, I don't think Mahindra would have put any less efforts in the XUV 700. I've seen your reviews on both the cars and I noticed that you were happier with the Scorpio N's performance as compared to the other. Are there any specific reasons so as to why you like the scorpio more? Or what are the cons of XUV. I'd be glad to get your reply. It will be really helpful for me to decide 🙂

@ICN Vikas bhai, maine iss saal march me new 2024 Facelift Nexon li hai. Pure varient Diesel Manual. Ab Curvv ko Dekh kar lag raha hai ki ruk jana chahiye tha. Mai jab Nexon le raha tha, tab already curvv auto expo me showcase ki gayi thi. Gaadi mujhe achhi lagi thi, but maine Nexon final ki , q ki maine suna hai, ki Mahindra air Tata jb bhi koi all new product launch krte hai, tab uska 1st batch to nahi lena chahiye. Usme bohot sare isuues hote hai. Eg. Scorpio N me steering modte samay jo 'kat' ki aawaj aati hai, yaa XUU700 ke door handles kabhi kabhi kaam nahi karte, TATA ke instrument clusters etc. Maine socha ek hi baar paisa lagana hai, aur usme bhi faulty gaadi aayi to baad me regret hoga. Iss liye maine 8 yrs Indian roads pr tried and tested Nexon Diesel manual le li. Q ki 8 yrs me ab tak isme koi major issues customer ki aur se nahi point out kiye gaye hai. Maine diesel iss liye li q ki meri running bhi zyada hai, me pichle 15 saal se sirf diesel gaadiya hi chala raha hu, aur mujhe pata hai ki shayad kuch saal baad diesel gaadiya naa mile. To wo diesel chalane ka maza phir nahi milega. To Kya mera decision sahi tha...? Plz reply karna Vikas bhai.🙏🙏🙏

I have Seltos , Scopio N ...seltos is a good car but the suspension of Scorpio N is way too good on a highway or bad roads compared to seltos...obviously seltos is filled with quality interiors and features but driveability or the robust feel is better in Scorpio N...but for city conditions and inter city travel Seltos is good due to its size..

Yes its slightly better with ScorpioN, but the difference is not big enough to discard the highway/city comfort of Creta. Its only when there is no road, like kinda offroad situation, or muddy road, yes then ScorpioN is definitely better than crossovers like Creta/Seltos.
