I own a Z8L Diesel Automatic and the car is a gem.. about the issues I would say alot and I mean alot depend on the service centre where you go.. you also rightly pointed that out as a negative but if your service centre has good and experienced mechanics then all your issues will be resolved in a single visit.. speaking this from personal experience 😊

Your point is valid bro.. but understand it's a new product and not a face-lift... new products have high chances of having some issues in the initial batches because no matter how much testing company does the conditions in which the car is used by thousand of customers are completely different.. what's more imp is if company proactively listens to the customers and resolve those issues which I believe Mahindra is already doing... most of the reported issues are resolved in latest manufacturing date vehicles... I had owned VW TRoc in the past which was a CBU and one of the top selling car of Europe.. even that wasn't 100% issue free 😊

Your cons are absolutely on point. ESC missing in lower variants is unacceptable for a car as tall as this. But yes, I’ve owned a Z8 4xplor for 7 months and have had the suspension noise issue and screen hanging multiple times, but all in all, very pleased with the car. It’s my preferred car amongst others

Australia NCAP crash test given 0 star to Scorpio N. Some people say it’s because there’s no ADAS, but in the crash test report it is written- “The front structure of the Mahindra Scorpio presented a high risk to occupants of an oncoming vehicle in the MPDB test (which evaluates vehicle-to-vehicle compatibility), and the maximum 8.00 point penalty was applied.” Many other points also mentioned in the report. Maybe Mahindra will improve the quality soon, so developed countries like Australia also give 4 or 5 star.

I am driving my creta 1.5 petrol and specially my new scorpio n z8 luxury manual since three months. The first thing in this car I must say the deisel engine is stressfree and such a refined unit. Refinement of the deisel engine is at par with the creta petrol. The presence is intimidating. And the seats are amazing. Even the steering is a butter smooth one. The sony sound system is a boomer! The drivers viewing area, and control of the car of that size is mind blowing. I think mahindra should concentrate more on small unnoticeable things like good quality rear wipers, more premium dashboard and ventilated seats. And 4x4 mandatory in all models. Indian suv ko duniya me mahindra hi layenge in the coming years. Agar sab features de de to Sab suv chutti ho jayenge! Even range rover o ka😅

The noise you are talking about is coming from the steering box. I have a 2023 January Z8L 4WD variant. From day 1, I am facing this knocking from the steering box. The knocking is very evident on 4WD variants. Initially, the dealerships refused to accept this as a problem. Now, after repeated complaints from many owners, they at least acknowledge the problem. I am still waiting for Mahindra to find a fix for it. One owner I know escalated this issue and Mahindra had to replace the steering box under warranty. But the knocking still exists.

​@@sundar-ur3oz sorry I saw your message now. If possible, avoid the four wheel drive variant. I live in a mountainous terrain. So, I didn't have much choice. Others wise 4WD are very expensive, less comfortable at high speeds and less efficient. Infact above 120km/h it is extremely uncomfortable. So, go for 2wd. 2nd and 3rd rows are bouncy. If you still haven't got Scorpio, then I suggest Thar 4door 2wd for your family.😊

I could never understand the broad sweeping criticism of Mahindra service.. I live in Navi Mumbai and have gotten my car serviced by not 1, not 2 but 3 different service centres on different occasions and trust me, the service has always been top notched.. I even went to 1 Mumbai based service centre and the experience was great.. one day my car ran out of battery (very unsurprisingly but the only issue I ever had) but my car was picked up and received by one of the dealership late evening and that too on a Sunday.. I wasn’t charged despite me being out of warranty (I forgot to buy extended warranty).. this cannot be beaten by other brands.. usually service centres don’t receive cars after the staff has left for the day and you have to leave your car at your risk.. so when talking about service, pls speak for yourself and not for the brand.. coz there are others who are receiving fabulous service levels

Thank you Gagan, it was a great video with all the important information, especially about ESP which I didn't know. I have a bolero Neo N10 and I must say its a great vehicle. I am thinking about Scorpio N diesel variant also, let's see if I can go for it. And by the way I am really not happy with the service Mahindra provides, it is pathetic, I don't about other states but here in Siliguri I have noticed that. In fact their mechanics are more polite and knowledgeable than their super visors or Managers. Anyways great video Gagan, God bless you.

We’ve owned thar for 2 years now, 3 free services completed, one major accident fixed by Mahindra service center. I had no problem at all with the service technicians and my relationship manager. Infact the 2 months that my baby spent in the workshop was a smooth experience altogether. Time to time updates on the parts replacement was sent via WhatsApp. We’re now planning to buy either a Scorpio or XUV 700. I trust Mahindra and their vehicles are indeed reliable!

Mahindra should work on their customer experience. From past 1 week i trying to get test drive of scorpio n and 3xo every time i go the showroom sales guy tells me that car is not available for test drive cars sent to events. But with maruti hyundai kai and tata Test drive cars sent was sent to my home to experience the cars. Even if the cars are good customer experience what makes you buy the car. Thought of sharing my opinion.
