Great job on the tackle and technique vid CC. I also use the Berkley big game rod for heavy baits. Used the Abu 5500c reels for many years until they went down on quality. 👍🏻🤙🏻

The older Ambassadeur reels were the best for many years. Sadly, a lot of Abu Garcia models had to be outsourced to China to make a price point. Some are still made in Sweden, and are still great. Pricey but great!

Yep it's hard to find good reels for shiner fishing! When you find one that works good and holds up, you better go buy a bunch of them before they stop making them! Same with rods!

Yep you don't need a leader for shiner fishing. Used to use one, then found out it didn't make any difference!
