After 4 days in Mexico, we finally find time to eat some tasty tacos. We made it our mission to find out some popular taco spots in the Hotel Zone of Cancun and wanted to share our findings with you!

We started our trip back in April 2, 2019 from New York City. We quit our 9-6 jobs, sold all of our belongings, and began traveling full time. We left our jobs because we were unable to be with family and enjoy life. Work was taking up too much time and something had to change. We saved up for 2 years and began traveling as soon as we found a deal that would take us around the world for just $285.00. We started this #travelvlog to share our adventures with friends and family. At the one year mark, we realized that we had only scratched the surface and there was still so much to see. Re-watching here my friend! I really have come to love Mexican food, there really is so much variety to choose from and it always bursts with flavour! And there must be no better place to try some of the cuisine than in the country itself! I would love to travel through Mexico someday, it looks like such a vibrant country! Thank you so much Much! We were in Cancun in the last week of June and it was the perfect time to go. The weather was perfect and we didn't have any issues! We stayed in Hotel Zone but also stayed in the Cancun downtown area and got a chance to visit Isla Mujeres as well!

You should go! You can stay along the Hotel Zone which is crazy fun, or you can go into the local areas which is also pretty cool! We did both and highly recommend it!

Oh my taco! What an awesome food video. If Japan falls through this Fall I will for sure be doing Mexico. The prices are fantastic. The tacos look good but, I'd be smashing my face into the guacamole. I love all the music. That's a big margaritas. Boy they filled those tacos at the last place. I'd have to say the second place is my favorite. Being a functioning alcoholic I would go to town on those margaritas.

The seat in the plane had too less leg space, good it was a short flight. Although all the Tacos were good but the Taco Y Tequila was the one I liked most because of the choices of non veg food and on top of it the huge glass of Margrita. Thanks for sharing.

Hey James! Not sure exactly where you are in Cancun, but I can make some other recommendations as well! These were all in the Hotel Zone area which is quite convenient near the mall. There is the heart of Cancun which is where the bus terminal is that has a lot of options as well :). Hope you are having a blast!

Are you guys fluent in spanish?? I'm going to cancun alone and a little bit nervous about my high school spanish. Even ordering food and asking questions is kind of tough for me...

We are not fluent in Spanish, but I would say that we have a working knowledge. I would say that even in Cancun, since it is a tourist area, you should be fine!!! When ordering food, just make sure you know your numbers and the types of meats :). Wedee only has high school Spanish and it worked out fine for us. Where will you be staying? Will you be in the resort zone are in the local area? Let us know and we would be so happy to leave you some suggestions :)

Thanks for your comment! We actually understand that we have to pay more especially staying in the CANCUN HOTEL ZONE which is predominately for tourists. Anywhere in the world, tourists will always be charged more no matter what. We just want to share yummy foods. We did go out of the hotel zone to try out some local places too! Hello Gary! Thanks so much for your update. When we made this video it was back in 2019 so this was over 3 years ago and we would assume that price has increased since then. We did not get a discount and we paid the full price. We have receipts to prove it as well. If you have any recommendations on any places you thought was good we would love to hear all about it :)

Thanks for your comment! This was made back in 2019 and we were just recommending places that were close to Hotel Zone. There are plenty of great places in the city center, but we found this to be helpful for those who didn't want to venture too far.
