Hey rob what camera setup do you use to film your installs? I’m trying to start.

I alternate between an A7R3 w/ 24-70mm 2.8 and a Sony ZV1 depending on lighting and how much moving I am going to do. And a GoPro Hero 9 Black for car meets. I do recommend the ZV1 quite a bit, nice quality and good size. amzn.to/3EZaPwA Don't forget that your smart phone with a nice mic added is always a good option too if you are just starting and deciding if you really want to put money into it.

At the moment I have a Sony 6500 which I know is a crop sensor, I also have a Sony dsc rx100m4. The lenses I have are a 35mm 2.8 and a 50mm.

Can you use a different wire system? I noticed it's 10 feet, but not long enough to reach my roofrack.

Yeah, just make sure it connects and is a basic power wire set-up. I would be tempted to ask LAS Fit if they have a longer wire. Or get two of theirs and splice them together.
