@@spiderdude2099 I haven't seen any hate, but I guess he is less popular because it's a guy character and most people want the female characters. That aside he is probably the best unit from the standard banner behind Bronya. Not only he deals great damage, he also debuffs, has as you said the rarest element in the game as of now and his synergy with Dan is insane. A team of Fire Trailblazer, Dan, Welt and Natasha can literally clear everything. In my opinion Welt + Seele is the best start an account can have. Even better than Bronya + Seele tbh.

@@ParadoX-os especially with “the loop” light cone on him. It’s a 3* light cone, and makes him do 48% extra damage to slowed enemies when superimposed to 5. His skill starts to shred when they’re slowed, especially if it’s against a single target

My first 5 star was Gepard and I love him so much the shields make every encounter so easy but my favourite team has been Gepard, Asta, Natasha and DPS March 7th because of her passive that does a follow up attack when a shield gets hit and since Gepard gives everyone a shield it creates a Machine Gun March. And since you are building her full damage her ultimate also hits really hard. That's just a fun team I enjoy playing but I'm kind of stumped on what good teams I can build using him with my characters I'll probably have to build Serval or Sampo.

My favorite as of now is Seele. Shes insane. I only have her lvl 40 with River Flows in Spring LC and ive seen her hit for 2.4k without any external buffs, only her own buffs. She can actually move 4 times before your other units gets to move. When its her turn, use her Ulti and get a kill with that. Her passive Resurgence will pop allowing her to do another move. You don't have to get a kill on this turn. Now, since you used her Ulti(1st turn) and got a kill, this allows her to move twice even before her main turn. Now on your third turn(her main turn), you want to get a kill to pop her Resurgence passive once again and move for the 4th time. I always do this when adventuring and since she gets to move a lot times and gets at least 2 kills, your energy is gonna recharge, so you wont have to charge her ulti before a major fight.

I found 'Sushang' to be absolutely bonkers in the single-target-damage department. granted, she is "only" a 4*-unit but she doesn't rely on any outer RNG-factors to deal absurd amounts of damage. Unfortunately she is also a Physical-type, which gets in the way with my element distribution (I am also running Clara and Natasha at the moment). I'm a bit in a bind anyways, I REALLY like Trailerblazer (Lance) and plan to fully integrate them into my final team-comp, so that space is somewhat taken. Leaves me with Natasha (Or otherwise Bailou if I had her, would prefer a Electro-type MUCH over Natasha in fact). Clara is pretty much the best unit I have right now, especially paired with March 7th as mentioned in the video, that combo is pretty nuts. Unfortunately it makes Trailerblazer a bit redundant because their shielding/provoke is not really wanted/needed. 😕 So the sensible option would to replace Trailerblazer but, man, really like the Lance-version. And can't really take Sushang either because 3 physical units is a bit counter-productive. The only real positive synergy that Trailerblazer adds to the teamcomp is that March 7th pretty much Counters every turn multiple times, due to the team-wide Shield that Trailerblazer provides. That's something that peple tend to overlook (March counters on ANY shielded unit hit, no matter the source the shield came from) but makes March 7th actually a crazy good unit in general (and is also considered an easy access to Follow-Up mechanics). I'm open for suggestions (no other 5-stars than Gepard are available, though, which is no option either for the exact same reasons). Could probably just insert Dan Heng and be fine, but meh.

I got Clara, and I noticed a huge improvement in damage when she's paired with March's ability to give Clara aggro. Then with enemies that lock on at the start of the battle, I use Clara's Technique to increase the chances of the lock on hitting her.

Gepard and Clara were my first 5 stars from the Beginner Banner and BOY did they save my ass early in the story. Coming from Genshin with always using Zhongli, it’s like Hoyo knew I would be DESPERATE to get a shielder for Honkai Star Rail. My team generally always has Gepard and Natasha (especially after I pulled Bailu's 5 star light cone for her) I also always use Seele since quantum is generally universal. The last slot is dependent on the enemies in the area and I switch between Hook, Serval, and sometimes Dan Heng.

I'm still at the beginning (level 22 at the "Goodbye" something mission) and I'm using Gepard paired with March 7th in many teams. Since I don't have good artifacts, March 7th shield can be applied on Gepard and when enemies attack him he will gain some energy, then when it is Gepard that creats shields and enemies attack a team member there is March 7th's follow up attack that restores some energy as well. When I'll need to create 2 teams for the Abyss, I will put Gepard and March 7th in one half and fire MC with Natasha on the other half

I'm f2p and got very lucky (my luck in other gacha games was surely transferred here lol ) and have a pretty good team, no problem in any stage of the game ( rank 32). I have welt, Bronya, Natasha, Tingyun. Welt is doing all the job with the support of Yun and Bronya x) (will surely replace nat/tingyun for jiang yuan in the future depending on the situation) Welt hit like a truck he definitely deserve more attention , debuff plus decent damage a great sub dps !!! Got my first 35k with clara counter couple of days ago. Her warmachine is insane dpr. Her skill can oneshot most enemies at the start of the game, and her counters are busted in the mid-late game. I havent seen any lvl 50 character with lvl 50 r1 4* cone able to dish out this much damage. AND SHE GOT 2 OF SUCH COUNTERS PER ULT USE. Insane character. I can only compare her to Seele, and honestly, while i invested much more into seele(she has 5* lightcone from Herta shop), her speed cant seem to keep up with insane counters of Svarog. Slow and steady wins the game they say.

I think Gepard has basically become my QiQi here. Lost the 5050 on Seele first time and got Gepard. Pulled Gepard 2 more times for E2 in standard and then immediately got the moment of victory cone that features him on it and is great for him so maybe it's the closest thing to a signature weapon. Funny thing is that for both Clara and Hook I immediately pulled them right after finishing their story quests. Doubt there's any mechanic there but it was two amusing coincidences.

My team is qingque supremacy, buffing her with tingyun and letting fire mc tank the damage comming in with either march 7th backing her up to take all the incoming damage or pela also suppoting qingque dealing massive damage. They alternate depending if the enemy is a big crowd or a single boss. For a all level 40 team, I usually deal 1500-2000 damage for qingque set normal attack and 3000-6000 on her ultimate

I rolled Gepard on the beginner banner as the first five-star on my account. Then today I rolled another random on the standard banner and of course I rolled the exact same character. Yay for E1 Gepard....

I got Bronya as my 50-pull 5 star. I then got lucky and pulled Seele within 20 pulls (though I was willing to go to pity). So I've been playing with Bronya, Seele, Serval, and Natasha as my main team, or replacing Bronya and Serval with Asta and March 7th when I need the element typing. Honestly though, this video makes me really want Clara now XD

On the welt team, I think that tingyun is better since it can buff Dan hang, and can get his ult back when he's it's at 50% and tingyun has hers ready.

my luck was incredible, my beginner gave me yanqing, then i got clara and seele back to back on event banner, then i got gepard and himeko back to back on standard today. i would reeeeally love bronya or bailu tho, or just sushang or especially tingyun. really love tingyuns design and she seems like the genuine bennett of HSR

Tingyun might be even more meta defining than Bennett was because of eeeverything she can do. Her damage buffs are additive not multiplicative, which is bonkers. She gives an insane amount of energy, at c2 I think, she boosts speed, AND her damage is nothing to scoff at. I desperately want her for my Clara team. UwU

​@@mwbwyatt I got Tingyun but I got her benched atm because I am currently building a Welt team :( (Welt, Dan Heng, Natasha, Asta) She's going to be my next character tho. After all we need 8 built characters for some endgame content.

@@soydum8784 I'm sad I still haven't got her yet. I've got a feeling she will be a focus 4 star on the next banner or two though and that's probably when I'll nab her. Until I get her or Bronya Asta is still pretty good as a buffer, but she's not good for my Clara team as I want Clara as SLOW as possible and speeding her up lowers her overall damage considerably. The main team I'm running atm since getting seele though, works pretty well. Seele, Natasha, Pela, and the 4th slot is usually himeko or Asta. But I'll slot in Dan if I need more single target than just seele provides. Extremely effective for the story.

My team is Yangqing, Danheng, Tingyun and natasha. You have healing, two damage dealers for different bosses and attack and energy buff I will try replacing danheng with fire trailablazer when I unlock him but I love danheng a lot

I got Himeko E1(1st in beginner and second in standard) ,Gepard and Seele. And so far Gepard truly carried my whole team even if my team is underleveled lol
