This is fantastic 🎉... can I substitute the aloe gel for powder?
@beautybooster_diy48483 ай бұрын
No, In my body butter formulation, the aloe gel serves as both a moisturizing agent and a part of the water phase that helps achieve the desired texture and consistency. Aloe powder, on the other hand, lacks the same hydrating properties and doesn't contribute to the liquid phase needed for emulsion with the oils. Additionally, the powder form may not blend well or provide the same soothing benefits as the gel. Therefore, substituting aloe powder for aloe gel would likely compromise the texture, emulsion stability, and overall effectiveness of the body butter.

Hi, Sylvie, can you explain how is Butter from Aloe is made? Or it's a aloe suspended into a thick fat ? In-all, this was your best recipe in over a month. Thank You for sharing it with us.

I think in the last month I have made other good videos too apart from this one. Aloe butter is made by combining aloe vera gel with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, and then hydrogenating the mixture. This process transforms the oils into a solid, creamy butter that retains the beneficial properties of aloe vera. Aloe butter is entirely water-free, making it anhydrous, which means it has a longer shelf life and does not require preservatives. It is popular in skincare for its moisturizing and soothing effects.

@@beautybooster_diy4848 hi, i watched all of your videos for the previous month. I meant those are just as good but this one was my favorite. Thank You for the elaborate explanation on Aloe Butter.

What can be used instead of Artioflex? I don't get this in my region 😞
@beautybooster_diy48483 ай бұрын
Hydroxyethylcellulose forms gels but might not be as smooth or elegant as Aristoflex AVC. Sepimax Zen creates a gel-like texture similar to Aristoflex AVC, offering a smooth feel. Xanthan gum also forms gels, but the texture and skin feel differ significantly from Aristoflex AVC, often resulting in a thicker, less smooth consistency. Additionally, the required amount of needed for each will vary. For formulations requiring a gel-like texture and smooth feel, Sepimax Zen is a closer match to Aristoflex AVC, whereas Hydroxyethylcellulose and xanthan gum are less similar alternatives.
