No. 6 is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Slim bumper & slim folio is the best combo of protection and slimness.

A great review, Can I suggest that it would have benefitted from mentioning the weight of each case. As a user of the Pitaka combo I can vouch for everything you have said but would add that when connected to the Apple Magic Keyboard the keyboard won't close fully unless you apply pressure and hold which rather defeats the object. It also means that the sleep/wake function doesn't work. Pitaka recognise the problem, but I am not sure what they intend on doing about it.
@FileasFogg-m8p8 күн бұрын
Further to my review, I have since discovered that the elasticated strap that comes with the Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 is the workaround that Pitaka have come up with to stop the Magic Keyboard gaping when the keyboard is closed in an upright position (for example in a bag) with the iPad/Pitaka MagEZ Case 2 inserted. The gaping does not occur when the Magic Keyboard & iPad/Pitaka Mag EZ Case 2 is closed and lies flat on a desk.

All of those that really protect the Apple Pencil Pro while it is in my backpack are the ones to get for me. Those that just have a flap for the Pencil are not quite enough.

With the pitaka combo, how do you keep up with your pencil say when you’re traveling etc? How more cases don’t hold the pen outside of exposing the magnet is beyond me!

The Pitaka folio has the magnetic flap that holds the pencil in place.

I just want something light with a kickstand on the back like a Switch. I might just wrap the back and glue a stand to the wrap.

The Pitaka folio case is really thin and gives lots of folding options for viewing angles.

Great video Michael! which one do you think is the best case against falls (i have a children that usually uses the ipad)? Another thing I am a bit concerned is that the m4 gest hotter than other ipads and don't know if it is a good idea to have a case covering all the back. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

The Spigen cases would have better drop protection than the others.

Looking at getting the Pitaka for the Magic Keyboard. Seeing a lot of reviews that it doesn’t allow the keyboard to close completely. Do you find that as an issue? Thank you!
@MichaelsTechTalk4 ай бұрын
It closes fine, yes there is a small gap because of the case. Apple didn't design it to be used with additonal cases so you will get this from other cases. I find with the case on the Magic Keyboard it actually helps to open the keyboard better.

Thanks for posting! This was a very informative video. One criticism, only to be helpful… You move your hands and the iPads around way too fast. Many of the shots are out of focus, out of frame, and do not let me see what you’re trying to explain. Good luck!

Which case is the lightest? In my experience, most cases are far too heavy. They turn a light and thin iPad into a bulky laptop. And then there's really no point in using an iPad anymore.
@MichaelsTechTalkАй бұрын
The PItaka cases would be the thinnest.

Thank you. I can't identify which of these uses a leather cover. I know you mentioned microfiber as well. I'm going to buy my 4th case and I want the smart cover to be more silicone/ platic-y material for durability.

Hi there. Without concern of weight. What case that’s rugged enough to use the I pad as a true tablet but be able to attach to the Magic Keyboard. Even if I don’t have to leave it in the keyboard. My challenge is that I use the iPad as a true tablet but then I also use it like a computer. I want to have that flexibility, even though it might be an inconvenience to work simultaneously I tried the pikata, It was way too thin and exposed a portion of the iPad. If I would’ve known better, I would’ve purchased the Logitech version but it’s too late for that for me.

You're kinda stuck for case options that work with the magic keyboard sadly. Haven't seen many other than the pitaka that is good.

I just received the Pitaka leather case. It is thin yes but it is also built very cheap. The leather like material feels very cheap, the interior microfiber its definetely one of the worst and cheapest I have seen and the flap feels thin and terrible, it also barely stands in the back when you are using the ipad. I do not understand how you can recommend this product
@MichaelsTechTalk3 ай бұрын
It’s an ultra thin leather/magnetic case. It’s a good case as is the same one from Benks.
@pavelkraev201510 күн бұрын
I'm sorry but I can't agree with you. I've been using the case for a few weeks now and can confirm its the same material used for the apple folio (I also have it) and it definitely feels way better and nicer than most other cases I've tried or seen. I have heard about the flap not staying in the back securely but I can't back that up. Mine stays on perfectly with the built in magnets in the back. It's one of the best cases for the iPad especially at that price range and I definitely recommend it.

pitaka is trash, it doesnt close all the way with with the magic keyboard, you know that, this is why you hold it with both hands to show thats it closes.
@MichaelsTechTalk3 ай бұрын
It's not a trash case, it's a solution to protecting the iPad in a Magic Keyboard that Apple has designed specifically to not use cases with. Yes it doesn't fully close but it's still a solution to an issue that Apple don't address.
