Hello there this is a nice well presented review. Although I gotta ask, in this other review from another KZbinr, they stated that the camera bumper protector of the Mag EZ case 2 would protrude on the Mag EZ Folio 2. May I ask if you experienced it as well?

Hi SeanI don’t have the combo in front of me right now to doublecheck, but I certainly don’t think I saw any issue of that sort. Perhaps the other reviewer was looking at the 13 inch version?

Good question, Chris! They look quite similar, but the magnets on the Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 are noticeably stronger and the fit is slightly more precise. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!

i want buy too but i have some consideration 1. i already use tampered glass (zagg xtr3) it still fine if i use this case? 2. it can be close tightly if i use this case with tampered glass (because in other brand case the some issue cant be close tightly?) 3. Can using this case for a long period of time damage the hinge on the magic keyboard? please give me the answer ASAP Thank you

Hi Antonius! In the review, you can see the fit with the ZAGG XTR3 screen protector, because that's what I have on my iPad Pro. Great fit, no issues. (Love the XTR3!) As far as closing tightly, are you referring to using the MagEZ Case 2 on the iPad Pro M4 11 inch and placing it inside the MagEZ Folio 2 and closing it? Because zero issues there. Great fit. However, if you are asking about the fit with the MagEZ Case 2 on the iPad Pro M4 11 inch and the Apple Magic Keyboard, then, as I mentioned in the video, the fit is not perfect. My rep at PITAKA says they are working to fix this issue, but right now, when the Magic Keyboard is closed with the iPad Pro M4 with MagEZ Case 2 inside, there is a small gap. The MagEZ Case 2 will accommodate a screen protector up to .8 mm thick, so it isn't a problem in fitting with the XTR3 screen protector on...it's an issue with the fit of the MagEZ Case 2 itself and the Magic Keyboard. I'm sure that Pitaka is going to fix this problem...I had their previous generation MagEZ Case Pro and Magic Keyboard combo for the 2022 iPad Pro M2, and the fit was flawless. Pitaka just needs a little time to get it perfect. As far as usability of the MagEZ Case 2 with the Magic Keyboard, everything is fine. The smart connector works great. It's just an issue of the gap when you close the Magic Keyboard. And as to whether closing the Magic Keyboard with the MagEZ Case 2 inside will harm the Magic Keyboard, Pitaka says it won't. I'm sure they have tested this extensively and must be right about it...but personally, it still makes me a bit nervous. Hinges are delicate things and you don't want to mess them up! So in my opinion you might want to wait for the revised version... Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!

Properly is a hard word to define. Will it stand up? Yes. But it will work best on a hard surface like a table...

If it is just on your bed, then it seems perfectly stable. If you are trying to balance it in your stomach while lying in bed, one of the landscape positions is ok and one is a bit unsteady. Particularly I think it is going to depend on the size of your stomach 😊. Hope this helps!

Hey! I am currently using logitech combo touch for ipad pro m4 but i was just thinking as i still in the return period shall i switch to magic keyboard or not? I know there are different opinions for everyone? I basically use my iPad for studying and browsing mostly

Hi! Lovely to hear from you again. So, both keyboard cases are excellent. I prefer the protection that the Logitech Combo Touch gives the sides of the iPad Pro, and the fact that you can detach the iPad Pro from the rest of the keyboard case and still be protected somewhat, but you can buy a third party product like this MagEZ Case 2 and get a similar result. (Of course, as I mentioned in the review, PITAKA hasn't quite perfected the fit of the MagEZ Case 2 with the Magic Keyboard, there's still a small gap when closed, but they are working on it and I'm sure they'll get that fixed. The 2022 iPad Pro 11 inch version of the MagEZ Case Pro and Magic Keyboard was flawless.) For me, I like the feel in the hand of the Logitech Combo Touch when closed better than that of the Magic Keyboard. I like the hard smooth feel as opposed to the slightly tacky feel of the Magic Keyboard exterior...it feels better slipping it into a bag. And you've got that larger trackpad with the Combo Touch, which is nice, as well as having a stand whether or not the keyboard is attached. However, the Logitech Combo Touch is not as easy to use on your lap as the Magic Keyboard. It has a much bigger footprint. And it doesn't give you the ability to charge your iPad Pro through a second USB-C port (helpful if you want to be charging your iPad Pro while connecting some other device via its USB-C port.) Tough call! Good luck deciding. What are you studying, by the way?

@@TheTechReviewer Yes it is definately difficult decision as i dont know if i will be able to hold iPad in hands when detached from magic keyboard as logitech is good and i have been using logitech for the previous M2 aswell. I am studying for my training exams in UK

I’m in the same boat as you with Pitaka. Apparently it’s not coming either. 👎 I upgraded from my mini 6 that I traded in to offset some of the cost for my 11” M4 iPad Pro.

I hear you. Very frustrating for people who bought into the whole Pitaka IPad charging stand ecosystem. I also expressed this view to Pitaka and I am hoping that they will take it into consideration when tweaking the MagEZ Case 2 to fit more perfectly with the Magic Keyboard…

I haven’t bought the new MagEZ because I don’t want to reward them. I didn’t just buy the charging stand. I bought the marble one which is a lot more money.

@@TheTechReviewer Thanks for sharing in my frustration. It just blows my mind that they won’t support the charging stand while still selling the charging stand. They aren’t just still selling it. They’re selling the more expensive marble version too. I was foolish enough to buy the marble one because it went with my white desk. I feel so foolish. The entire reason why I bought into the PitaFlow system was because I thought it’d be easy to keep upgrading. I didn’t even get two iPads out of this stand. This stand has become essential to my workflow because I use my iPad as a second monitor for my M4 iMac. If Pitaka doesn’t change course I’ll never purchase a single thing from them ever again.
