I wouldn't, the scams start at the airport and you will see no end. Even tour operators leave you stranded with conveniently placed taxis charging a base of $200usd even if it's a 30min drive, 10 min drive and if it's over 30min price goes up from $200. When we were there, hotels were running out of water, airport was out of water and 2 500ml bottles of water was $12usd. I'd go somewhere else. I've been going there for 20 years and I will never step foot on Mexican soil again. Yes it's that bad.

If you're in Puerto Vallarta, most people probably don’t know about San Sebastián del Oeste, but it’s such a hidden gem! It used to be a hassle to get there - you'd have to take a tiny 14-passenger Cessna caravan plane! Now, though, you can easily drive or hop on an excursion tour group. This little mountain town has so much charm, with its cobblestone streets, coffee plantations, silver mine and so much history. If you're looking to get away from the beach crowds and explore something truly special, this place is definitely worth the trip! Doña Maria that was the owner of the coffee plantation (sadly passed away now) had 21 children! One of her son´s Rafael still operates it with his wife today.

Most Big Name resorts in Cancun have pools and seem to be fairly toddler friendly. Also there is a couple waterparks like Xcaret and Xel-Ha. But I would not sit here and say that Cancun overall is Toddle friendly to be honest.

I have no idea which hotel he stayed at, but The Yellow Nest in Tulum has bungalow style rooms, and they serve you breakfast in the water. Oh, and the hotel has a 9.5/10 reviews, so it's definitely worth looking it up. 😊

I would say from personal experience if you stay at a secure resort and use their tours and transport you should be okay. I found most of the people to be friendly and walking around in the day time to be safe.

I went last week and we stayed in downtown cancun. Hotel xbalamanque was were I stayed. We stayed amongst the locals and it was completely safe. I speak Spanish and There are police and military walking amongst the beach and city. Now the hotel zone food and environment 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾. I stayed in downtown cancun amongst the locals. The kindness, the environment, and the food👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. We stayed at hotel xbalamanque the staff, pool, and rooms👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. There is a place we found by one of the hotel staff by accident. Las palatas park after dark on Friday👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I highly recommend it. From the food to the environment is all that I need to say
