I have been fishing a lot and have done great up in the marshes and even out front on the shorelines. I am still using the number 24 from H&H lures. Hi Mark. Great video as always. A couple questions: do the redfish ever get a "muddy" taste from being back in those muddy canals? Are you able to fish those areas year round, even in the winter months? Just curious if they're still back there in that shallow water when it gets cold.....thank you sir and Merry Christmas!

Thanks Jason, no I never taste anything muddy in the fish because those fish come and go from the Marsh to the open water an yes I do find them in the Marsh year round they will leave when it gets real cold but as soon is it warms up they go right back the biggest problem is the tide in the winter get super low and they have to leave but when it comes back they come back

Was in Matagorda Bay on a big boat yesterday. Was crazy to see the marsch drained like that.

@@marksfishingchannel9923 all we hooked on was a whiting, a few croakers, stingray, whatever bit our shrimp, and of course I caught a few hard heads. I really want to buy a kayak and fish some places local to me that hold good fish. Just gotta take the plunge.

Thanks Tom yes I do some time try different luers but I seem to always come back to this one I have used top waters and even frogs to catch these red fish but I like to let you guys know that it's not as important to have the right bait as it is finding the fish
