TWO OVERSIZED REDFISH IN ONE TRIP TO THE MARSH CAUGHT FROM MY SUP / KAYAK

This trip was just before all the rain that we received this week . I have sense figure it out my mic issues so hopefully on the next trip we can have some good audio. I don't know what this rain is going to do to the red fish in the Marsh we will have to find out.

Great video Mark! Love seeing them eat even after you spook them a little. It's been tough finding them lately in any good numbers. I'll be heading down to POC tomorrow with my new boat to check out some spots I could never paddle to, or get to with any other normal boat I've had in the past. I'm ready for the summer!

Two nice brutes as you call 'em, Mark. That first one really wanted to take you on a tour of the marsh. If you weren't staked out, he would have. Still, two in the cooler for the dinner table is a good trip.

Thanks Jim yes that's the truth he was a puller we got 12 " of rain in the marshes and I went yesterday and only got one keeper but it will come back soon .

@@marksfishingchannel9923 Mark, I'm curious how that much rain affects water clarity there. Salinity plays a big factor here and its probably the same there.

@@JimMFishing The reds don't care much about the salinity like the trout but as for as the clarity it just depends where the run off comes from if the fields it is muddy but off the islands out by the gulf it is more clear.

LOL , I am good I went out of 6 mile today but the water was muddy so I could not see though the water good , I seen some bust off but it was too late to get them . I may go to the Seadrift area and try to find some clearer water .

Sometimes but not many but the good thing is that they make a lot of tracks in the shallow water so you know if one is around I know the marshes to stay out of that they love to be in the most .
