Emily's loft is killer! A place like that here in Baltimore would be well over $3k per month to rent, or close to $400k to buy, no doubt about it
@angrybeefpv57747 жыл бұрын
You might want to try the gold motors from newbee now that you have the larger connector. I don't have the larger connector yet, so I didn't see the improvements because my tiny Whoop is probably power starved...

I hope someone can answer this but I did a motor mod on my eachine e010 and when I try to fly it it started spining in no particular direction. Is this because of the flight controller of the eachine or is there something I can do to fix this?

How awesome is the JST-PH 2.0 connector right? Best tiny whoop mod IMO. Maybe give some 19,000kv motors a try next. uhh I usually forget to break in motors haha. Its a good idea to do so with brushed motors and I do when I remember. But when i finish a whoop build I'm usually to excited and just start ripping lol To do it, I usually just raise throttle until the motors are just spinning with props on and let it run for like 5 mins
@matchewbacca7 жыл бұрын
thanks for reply well we had a break in the weather today in England and I managed to make the transition from horizon to acro an I'm so pleased with myself lol it's so much better I can't believe il never go back now to apply it to the whoop thanks drew

@dead_p1xl9647 жыл бұрын
You should use literally any frame except the original Blade one. It's way too brittle and thin, and it will break after just a few taps on the ground. I got the black Eachine E010 frame and mounted everything in there, and while a tiny bit heavier it is SO much stronger. It was $8 well spent on Amazon - haven't broken the frame since - and it came with a couple sets of props for free. I really want to get a couple of the Rakonheli aluminum and CF frames but I can barely find any in stock and I keep hearing mixed reviews.
@AAronFpv7 жыл бұрын
DEAD_P1XL keep the original frame get a brace makes it almost indestructible plus everything fits right and it's lighter
@dead_p1xl9647 жыл бұрын
The brace made it flex less but it didn't stop it from breaking. The little plastic spars that go between the prop surrounds and the motor holders break every single time for me. Anytime you do a trick and it doesn't have the power to recover in time, it taps the ground pretty hard. It breaks after 4-5 of those for me. No problems at all with the replacement, and it was only $8 including a bunch of props. They reinforce them at those points when you get one from TinyWhoop.com but the stock Inductrix frames are not great.
@LeDribFPV7 жыл бұрын
been thinking about trying the E010 frame. Just bothers me that the batteries dont fit well without modification. I use a brace like bronco said and that helps a lot, but the spars do break. I need to get the glue TW uses and try reinforcing
@dead_p1xl9647 жыл бұрын
Definitely. I tried using CA glue after the spars had broken and whatever material they used for the frame it doesn't like to stick well. I think they have their specific reinforcing epoxy stuff on the TW shop as well. The frame is a bit hard to fit normal 1S tiny whoop sized batteries correctly, but I can still just slide them in at an angle like this i.imgur.com/mcOD13F.jpg and they seem to work just fine. The angle doesn't seem to bother them, and there's just enough tension they don't slide out or bend or anything bad. I've been meaning to upgrade the power lead to a larger plug and wire so I can potentially use a 500mAh or so, which fits in the E010 battery slot perfectly (even if it sticks out a bit on the ends). It's just 2 minutes with a blade to cut out the opposite end of the battery slot and fit longer/deeper batteries if that's what you're after!

I have a bunch of 3S batteries but none 4S. can you make a quad that runs off of a 3S battery?
@LeDribFPV7 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Most all the 4S components will run fine on 3S. I started out using 3S, many people did. Its more common now to go straight to 4S but if you've already got some 3S its a great way to learn on a lighter and less powerful machine
