Hello I really liked your video but cannot understand the composition of your soil. I know you put garden soil, and I think charcoal? and then something else that was dry. Could you please let me know. Also I just got some fresh galangal from Thailand but it was in the fridge there, so should I keep out to let it dry for a few days before I put it into soil? I live in Riverside CA and loves to grow galangal. I planted 5 shoots in the ground and unfortunately they withered in the summer. Watching your video I want to plant them in container to move them in shade during extreme heat.
