Riley is very cute . She’s very clever ! Thanks for the video. Lots of good toys and ideas . Some ideas i had watching this were . Maybe some water play outside in bathers and get wet to cool down . Packing up the toys can be turned into a game . You could have some music that you play for pack up and dance and sing as you pack up and Riley can help you , like a game , always make it fun . I also like to have a foam bed mattress on the floor , to do active play , jumping and rolling and running . You can use a drum and percussion instruments to make Beats to dance to . I got bells that Velcro around kids ankles that are also fun to make sounds when jumping and dancing . Great job . Best wishes . 😊

This video was so refreshing, thanks... just watched a video of some lady yapping and yapping with maybe 1% of the video of her kid actually playing with toys... seeing your girl play in the background was fun (and funny sometimes). One item you didnt get is the VTech Picnic Basket.. my daughters been loving it since 6 months old... good for 6 months to 2+ years

You should start having Riley help you clean up each toy before she gets out a new one to play with. Sing the clean up song! They love that and it motivates them to help.Then you have less to do at the end of the day! #momtip 😊

I have 2 December babies as well! And their birthdays are a week apart from each other. Lol My son (who is a Riley as well!) is 7 on the 20th and my daughter is 1 on the 13th. ❤ But, I've actually been eyeing some of the toys you have here, so it's great to see an honest review on them with live action toddler playing. Hi Kayla. Loved this video. I have a 14 almost 15 month old baby girl and I just never know what to get her. Your video gave me so many ideas, so thank you. As for video ideas, I would be so cool of you can do a video on the process of buying a house and just how it all works. I'm 27 and my husband and I are contemplating buying our first house in the next two years or so, but literally have no idea where to start or what kind of money we need to have. When do you cook and take time for yourself...just like reading or watching shows or just lying around... it seems so tough, I have a one year old and I think I need to spend more time with him he is very cranky and wants my attention every time. Its hard to get all these toys in India but I’ll definitely try to find it here in local stores or on amazon but one thing I’ve to say `You are a super mom’ ❤️

Is Riley watching TV in her highchair while she's dumping all the food and utensils she is done with on the floor? Her eyes are so beautiful. If I look more closely probably her eyelashes would make me cry, since mine are short. OK, she's 20 months old and her fish and shark are way better than I could ever manage to draw. This is depressing. I am pretty much the hangman, stick figure artist. You can be a homebody and take her out in the yard or go for a walk. It is important for children to be in nature because of what they absorb from the different sights and sounds and smells. It tends, truly, to tire them out more, too. They nap better, get tired faster in the open air. A little pool or sandbox or tree swing in the yard is a big deal when the weather is decent. I see you have some yard activities for her. Wearing the bows/hairbands on her legs is like a garter. She's making her own garters. It is so good that without being destructive Riley is finding unanticipated ways to use her toys. That's good for her creativity and learning how things work. She is getting old enough to start helping you clean up the toys a bit. There's a little song, "Clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere. Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share." You can sing it together as she helps, which won't be much help just yet. You are wise to get her toys that will last and allow for her to use them imaginatively. I had to laugh at the indestructible books that will not tear, but those poor books looked "distressed." So sweet how happy she was to take a bath and play in the bubbles. There were so many they covered her whole hand.
