Sir, as you gave example of SBI Cards. Suppose if I am holding SBI Cards for medium term and then if I find that I can trade BTST in that stock for extra gain. If I purchase the share and sell on next morning, which shares will be debited? Those which I was holding for medium term or the ones in which I have not taken delivery yet? In BTST trade, does any extra tax or any thing implied or DP charges exempted?

Yes ,you may have to pay penalty upto 20 percent or even more if you fail to deliver the shares that you have sold as they are still not in your demat account . The brokers don't take any responsibility . If the share goes in auction only the seller gets fined.
