Too bad that your trip to Canada, shared with us is over, of course we have lived it in a virtual way but we are convinced that traveling even virtually makes us feel good but above all it is good for the brain and makes us special in "harmony" with the universe. So guys, thank you very much, let's wait for the next trip. Lots of happiness and love. Roberto and Daniela

Can't wait for your next video. Bye guys

Guys, the magic formula to keep warm in the tent: a sleeping bag where both of you can fit. Exist? Nothing like sharing the heat of the bodies, right? A king in the middle of nowhere is a matter of state, therefore the helicopter must always be nearby. Ha ha!!! What a wonderful trip guys!!! We have enjoyed it with you and it is also part of our memory. Thanks. A lot. Hugs and kisses sweeties.
@tommyandpeter2 жыл бұрын
Hi Liliana, the magic formula could work but sadly we didn't have a sleeping bag big enough. Not sure if they exist 😁 I am glad the helicopter was not nearby this time because otherwise we would have missed Laughing Falls again and also the very pretty Lake Celeste. We are so glad you liked seeing all the beauty with us 😊😉

You are the most fearless hikers (except for bears).....what terrific views and commentary. Whenever you visit a remote waterfall, I am remined of my hike to Machu Pichu on the Inca Trail in 1970-71. Two hours from the site we found a dead European man at the foot of a remote waterfall on New Year's eve. We had to camp overnight about a 100 yards from the corpse.....what a scary night! We feared bandits in the bushes looking for more victims! When we reached the ruins, no one had been reported missing, so we suspected foul play. We never learned the end of the story....it was reported in the national press all the next week.
@tommyandpeter2 жыл бұрын
What a horror story! I don't know how we would cope in such a situation. I guess we should be grateful for encountering only bears. I hope nothing like that will ever happen to us. As you can see, we're far from fearless 😉

Another beautiful video. I'd recommend a double (two person) sleeping bag to keep you both warm on cold nights. Love Tommy's droll humor... "We were licking our lips at the people passing by." A "Chapstick" would be helpful to keep your lips moist. If you enjoy big water falls, I'd recommend Niagara Falls. Unfortunately, there are many people there, but it is really impressive... especially when you see it in person. Looking forward to your next video!

Thank you for another beautiful video. The mountain vistas and waterfalls are so overwhelming. It's been so many years since I was there, I had almost forgotten what a wonderful place that it is. Especially liked the starry night scene, the cold dry air makes everything stand out. Your hike this day appears to be a very gratifying one, and you made it to the summit, terrific. On my vacation to Banff, we went from there west to Vancouver Island and then south down the Washington and Oregon coast to the California coast. A truly memorable vacation. Looking forward to the next video. You guys take care, be careful. Love you. Tony

Thanks Tony, we absolutely loved this hike, it was one of our best 😊 We were very glad that the weather conditions were great and also there was the right amount of snow on the trail - not too much to make it impossible to walk but enough to make it look very interesting. Greetings ~ Three months ago my husband and I started watching your videos in order from the first one and we just finished this latest one tonight. It has been a joy watching your adventures. I was an introvert until age 26 and still shy away from crowds for the most part so I can relate to that part of your personalities. From childhood to age 50 I also gardened so watching you both attack your country house is amusing and fun. One bit of advice is the way you use your spade/shovel. Please wear boots or better footwear when digging holes. Over time I ended up with neuropathy in one of my feet from not wearing the correct footwear when digging plant holes with a spade/shovel. Every time Peter digs a hole I wince worried about the possible damage to his feet over time. On a very shallow note ( yes we all can be shallow at times ) I think Peter would look so much better clean shaven as his beard is not the best :). In one of your past videos, you spoke about appealing to a broader audience. You voiced that a pet is not something you are interested in because of your jobs and travel. In the vloggers you mentioned that have huge followings they all have dogs. People love to see dogs in videos and feel as though they actually know them. I watch 5 youtube vlogs on a weekly basis and four of them are gay couples and they all have dogs and/or multiple pets. Foxes Afloat is a favorite of ours. There are two vlogs we stopped watching because the gay couples adopted children. The format changed as they focused heavily on the children rather than travel, their projects and garden. The one non gay we watch is Positano Diaries. It started out because we have vacationed in Positano. Yes, there are two dogs in that vlog, they focus on their garden, travel and cooking just like the both of you do. Sorry to ramble on but we have enjoyed your work very much and will continue to do so. With fondest and best wishes from a nature lover.
@tommyandpeter2 жыл бұрын
Hi, that must have been almost overwhelming to watch all the videos in such short amount of time. We are glad you've been enjoying them. Well done 😁 Wow, I didn't know there could be damage to my feet from digging holes. I wear quite good sneakers, so I think it is not the worst but good to know. Haha, I wish I had a thicker beard - I wouldn't even call the one I have a beard 😀 It's just laziness and lack of time that I don't shave more often... We wouldn't want to have dogs or other pets just to be more popular. It would be a big commitment and traveling would be impossible. Also in the small condo in the city it would be far from ideal. We prefer to mostly film our regular lives than to do things just for the sake of making videos. A lot of KZbinrs do it, always some big projects and challenges just to have content for KZbin (in the end it is their job). But with our regular jobs it is not possible. Our channel will never be very big but it is ok. We film also for ourselves, to make memories (mainly from our travels and to see how our garden changes over time) and I like the process of creating something nice out of all the footage we film 😊 If only it wouldn't be so time consuming... Thank you for your long comment, it's good to read feedback on our videos. And thank you for watching. See you in the next video 😉

I worry too much. I see you two using the stepping stones to cross those runoff streams. I am afraid that the stones are unstable. If you slip, your foot will land in the stream, and your shoe will fill up with water. Then you will have to walk the way back to the car with your foot sloshing around in icy water. Believe me, I am talking from experience.
@tommyandpeter2 жыл бұрын
You don't have to worry, we are already used to walking in wet shoes from Elk Island National Park with all the swamps 😀 But really, we know the rocks could be unstable so we are trying to be careful 😊
