It looks like you put your stabilizer on upside down. Also, how much weight did you have in those containers?

I totally did, bolts go down and I caught it the next time I used it LOL. Thanks for pointing it out as well. For our Yellowstone trip, those containers had about 45lbs in them each, on this video they had about 20lbs in them.

How has the Atlas been? I have a CRV but need more towing capacity and have been considering it.

Hi there! We love our Atlas, (Wife's primary vehicle) I think it's a 2021 and it's been a fantastic vehicle with good towing capacity, and we especially love it for longer road trips to the west coast, or up north. The one we have is a 6 cylinder and now they are using these dumb 4 cylinder engines in the 2024 Atlas models, it's so sad. Many of the new 2024 SUV's I've been looking at have dropped the 8 and 6 cylinder and are downsizing, some are using these 4 cylinder with a turbo and they are a joke to drive. (Tested a new highlander the other day and was disappointed). But anyway, no issues at all with the Atlas, I know some folks have reported electrical, some just don't like the Atlas for other reasons, but we love ours. If you can find a new 2023 they still have a 6 cylinder in those I think. Thanks for the comment. 🚗

Which one do you like better? this one or the oklead you reviewed a few years ago?

That's a great question, this one from Yaxuk folds up and stores easier (folds down much smaller overall) however I think the Oklead is slightly better quality and if I'm not worried about storage when not traveling, I think I'd go with the Oaklead. I also like that one because the fences go all the way across your gear and it feels just a little more solid when you actually jump up on each one of these racks. Keep in mind both are great cargo/carrier racks. Thanks for the comment!

I just finished putting together the oklead and unfortunately the piece that goes into the tow hitch is bent so the basket sits at an angle which is a big no no. I just reached out to customer service through amazon. we'll see how that goes.@@FixMyBleep
