I think I may have a video comparing the pontoon to the aviator that I made maybe a year ago. That might be helpful to watch and get a good idea of the size.

Great review Amanda! I have become a Lug travel snob! I used to carry quite a bit of Vera travel items but have slowly sold those and replaced with LUG! I can’t live without my clear view pockets! I love the trolley xl for the vanity, trolley reg and mini for travel and Lug caddy for my bedside table to store lotions, etc that I need. I have enjoyed all your traveling videos this summer! I have been lucky to travel a little bit too but so jealous for the Alaska cruise! Definitely a bucket list item

Oh you gave me a great idea of what to use my Caddy for when I'm not traveling. Oh yay glad you did some traveling. Where have you traveled to? Also, the Alaska cruise we were first supposed to have went on in May 2020 but everything kept getting rebooked and cancelled but we finally got to go. it's amazing. I hope you get to go.

Glad, I'm not the only one with a travel bag collection lol! I have two structured travel bags, the Everywhere Bag and a Lily and Drew, for plane travel, they are both 16 inches wide so they fit under the plane seat. Plus I bring my carry on suitcase. And I also have two soft, squishy weekenders (off brand names) that are 20 inches in width, that don't fit under plane seats, so I use those for car trips. Since my squishy ones are larger than my structured ones, I usually do not bring a suitcase when I use those. I do want a leather one though. Oh, I do have those Lug trolley make bags too. I first bought the XL one and found it a bit too big for travel. So I purchased the original size, which is perfect.

I'm just like you. I have to have a different bag for different occasions when traveling. Cover all the basis. Haha. I like structured bags torso I may check the everywhere bag out. I agree about the regular size trolley being perfect. It's the goldilocks. The mini is too small for me and the XL is too big. Thanks for watching and love to hear what you carry too. Hey Amanda! Another excellent, excellent video 👍🏻. I appreciate MZ Wallace bags for the same reason you do- so wonderfully squishy scrunchable! Yay! I carried MZW bags for a couple years before realizing Lug made bags other than the Trolley. I LOVE the Trolley and got my first one even before my first MZW. (Have 4 trolleys now -oops😄- and 2 minis). However, the Caddy is now my bathroom counter AND camper van toiletry bag of choice. (In Tropical Multi🥳)(Hubby has Heather Gray). When we eventually fly again I’ll pull out my PJ Duffle but until then it’s Lug and MZW in the camper. You’re so talented Amanda- keep up the great work!!

@@AmandaPerkins815, it wouldn't surprise me. I followed Kat Nesbit's channel(she's a flight attendant) in 2018, when my hubs & I were traveling to see his family across the country for 3 weeks. I was trying to learn how to pack lighter, & better, & she mentioned the trolley. When I started looking at more Lug products, I found your channel. I now own many Lug bags, but not as many as you, of course. ☺️

I love the Lug PJ Duffle too. I would love to see a video of how you pack it for travel. I don't know if you've already done one or not. If not, hopefully in the future. I have the Bagsmart bag too that is similar but I do think the quality of the Lug is better. Great bags in your collection.

Oh I agree the quality is much better with the Lug bags but I know some people like more budget friendly options. I'm going on a cruise in 20 days and would usually be taking the PJ Duffle with me but I think I'm going to use one of the coupons out of the mystery box to buy the Aviator. If it comes before my cruise I may be taking it instead. However, I can definitely do a travel packing video for the PJ Duffle bc it is my preferred bag to use. I was thinking of doing a video while on the ship to show what I really take with me as I really am traveling so it will either be the PJ Duffle or Aviator.

You had me going a little at the beginning, but I KNEW some Lugs would make your top list! Your concord PJ duffle is so versetile and holds a lot. I almost got one in BCR but the color didn't go with my rollerboard! lol Thanks for showing me some new brands to check out. I really liked the squishy one that looked quilted. You do a lot of traveling, so I appreciate your POV. I just got the Skeeter yesterday, so hope you'll do a review if you got one too. Maple leaf....waiting since last fall.

Haha! While I was editing the video I was thinking (people are going to wonder where my Lug is😂). Oh thanks I'm so glad you appreciate my opinions. I try to be honest and use what I think really works. Seriously I don't know how the PJ Duffle can be topped. Someone mentioned in another video a bag they like and I caved and bought it to try it. I love trying new brands too. It was pricy but I'm going to give it a go. Oh yay you got the Maple Leaf. It looks so pretty. I loved it in the lining of some of my Rosewood Red bags. I'm so sorry but I won't be able to do a video on the Skeeter. You know it took me a long time to decide to try the Ranger bc of the North South orientation so -I don't know about it. @@AmandaPerkins815 I totally get it. I got a Compass, and that's the N/S that is just a touch too much for me so I gifted it. I think I caved on the Skeeter because it was the only thing besides the tote and mini trolley that was in the pattern and I really wanted it for fall. If scoop or navigator or samba xl (I have that in Rosewood with the maple lining) had come out in it, I probably wouldn't have gone that small. Good luck on the box! I happen to be obsessed with Lug. I’ve probably purchased about 15 of them over the years. Do you have the Pontoon 2, and if so, what are your thoughts on how it compares to the Puddle Jumper you featured? I am torn between those two. Technically the Pontoon is slightly larger but still meets most personal item specifications. I love, love, love my Airbus but I got called out by the gate agent with that one and they made me check it :(

I had the Pontoon 2 but sold it because I just never used it. When it comes to traveling my #1 lug bag is the PJ Duffle so it’s hard to not always carry it. The Pontoon will definitely hold more. I just love how easily the PJ Duffle fits u see the seat and it doesn’t have to be laid down. I can easily get into it without much trouble. I would say if you are looking for a Lug bigger than the PJ Duffle check out the Aviator. It fits under the seat with room on the sides for your feet (on delta at least) but it can get heavy when packed full. Now that I have rambled was this helpful? 🤣thanks for watching.

After buying a wheeled underseater bag, I'll never go back to a tote bag ever again. So much easier for me. I use a Lug backpack for my personal item. My Lug Trolley is packed in my underseater bag.
