I first visited Australia back in 1990's and lived there as a student in Melbourne. Since I met Olga, we have been talking about holidays and finally we made it back. Over the years, the places have changed, and I am happy to say, mostly for the better. Thank you Australia. We will be back!

I'm a Melburnian ( originally a Pom) and passionate about my adopted city. It amazes me, though, how few tourists know about the stunningly beautiful state of Tasmania. Mind you half of Australia seems oblivious what a jewel we have to our nation's south.

I love in the north east corner of tas , through summer the last 3 years it's almost impossible to get a parking spot near a beach or in towns in the north east and down the east coast because of tourists , but Tassie sure could do with more tourists in the other 3 seasons 😀

My great grandfathers name is on the other side of the Light horse monument, He died in 1900 fighting in the Boar War in Pretoria South Africa. Hi, Hope all is well and hope you enjoyed your stay in Australia, there is plenty more to see but that would take a year of travelling. Food prices are insane and I stopped eating out years ago . My best tip is next time you visit get an Air BNB and or get an apartment with a kitchen .having a steak or two in beats paying $ 150 a meal which is my weekly food bill . Probably Pizza hut or kentucky fried offers the cheapest take away. Mcdonalds and Burger King prices are out of control , but as I said get an Air BNB or Apartment cook your own . Maybe consider hiring a Motor home if you come again and want to travel , you will save heaps.Oh , and I checked out your Music channel , now I get it , all the best....next time take the train , forget UBER
@ExploringTogetherJourneysАй бұрын
@@ericnoack1324 it’s true, we wanted to cover as much as we possibly could in 10 days - very ambitious as each city easily could take 10 days to explore in it’s own only. Is air BNB good for staying with a kid? How is privacy/showers situation? Arriving at Gold Coast was cool until I saw Uber price, really too much, we took bus, in a way that was a better choice as we got to see more things on the way. P.S. thanks for checking the music channel 😁😉

@HenriHattarАй бұрын
@@ExploringTogetherJourneys You are not quite right with that information, Singapore is a condensed SMALL geographic area, the mainland measuring just 50 km x 27 kms, wth going on 7 million people, so ON that small square area it is logical thought that it has, as it does, lots of public toilets, however they are probably NOTICED MORE.
