Hisense has came a long way since this, some of their TVS are brilliant for the price, and surprisingly jam packed with features like HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0/3.0, Nice OS, Freeview, ALLM, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10+, 4K UHD, Bluetooth 5.0, And alot more. For Something under £400 and has amazing features, id say its one of the best tvs for the price.

I have spent days watching videos about different tv's and I no further along. I was leaning towards the TCL 85" series 4, but Hisense shows up on my radar now trying to stay around 2K. I use it mostly for movies and some TV. WOW so much to consider.

So I was looking into getting the Samsung 65” Q80T because it had a great mix of the features that i wanted (for both gaming and watching in bright rooms) but you literally said that other TVs at that price point ($1500) do the same things better. Which TV did you have in mind.

Hello There and a Happy Hew Year 2022 to you also. I just want to say that I really enjoy and appreciate the way that you explain things. High End or Lower End, you are easy to follow and your explanations are concise and easy to understand. Thank You for all you do, for so many! Boy, I am used to the Panasonic or Sony tier of devices, but I am now retired and disabled so... Champaign Taste, but Beer budget. UGH! So, I bought a "VIZIO 43" about a year ago and Never again. The Speakers blew within a month of purchase. Then a complete row of LEDs went out, so the bottom half of the picture couldn't even be seen?! This VIZIO wasn't even 1 year old yet?! So I don't want it even if they will fix it, so I threw it out, where it belongs! Now recently, (2 months ago), purchased the "TCL ROKU 50' Series 4" television and I like the picture and it was a breeze to set it up BUT... It will not work with any of my "Bluetooth" devices at all?! NONE of them?! I have Good quality devices too, such as Ear Pods, Head Phones, Speakers, as well as a complete 7.1 Digital Home theater Surround Sound System and Nothing will even be recognized by this TCL?! Now I spent over $1,000.00 per Speaker on this sound system, so i'm not getting rid of it any time soon, so the only option that I have left is to connect via the "Head Phone OUT" connector, but this doesn't really solve any of my issues, because Using that connection Mutes the television's Speakers completely and on top of that you can only transmit Stereo, (two speaker separation), with this connection?! Does any one, anywhere, know a Solution or Work Around for this? Please Help me if you can? Thank you. Keep Smiling...

Bought a H9G and had to return it immediately because the motion was terrible and the panel had terrible horizontal and vertical banding. If the panel selection was better it would be a winner but you're really getting the luck of the draw with the cheaper options. Replaced it with an A8H OLED and it is phenomenal.

Well whatever the TCL 635 TV can do I think my 2019 65 825 set really looks good seeing how they were trying to be high end and have thousands of micro leds in their big sets. They couldn't sell them at the original asking prices and finally mostly dropped them back reality so I bought it rather than the Vizio Quantem X series at Costco for much cheaper. I didn't want to play the panel lottery and hope I got a good one with Vizio. I also thought the overall picture quality and color balance was better. I'm still quite happy with the black levels and overall balance of the picture and I don't notice any blooming. They have actually updated them a couple of times to add features and fix the local dimming issues in medium and lower settings since I got it recently. Hopefully they'll bring out the Vidrian sets that supposed to bring active micro led to improve things even more but we'll see how it goes. I think they are concentrating on sets using similar setups but less zones and micro leds like the 635 to sell a lot of units and make some money back from the new technology.

Really enjoy your videos - like the simplification / explanations however just like everything else, it just leads to more questions lol... I do have a question though - looked at your "buying chart", however it your low-mid section i see you listed the Samsung Q60 which is a model i was thinking of, or another Samsung model which you didn't list, the AU8000. Looking at getting a 65" tv in the $1000 cdn range. Why did you list the Q60 vs the AU8000 - i can't see a lot of difference other than loss of composite connections.

Hisense sounds right for me.. the analogy for what you mention is British HiFi amps of the 80's and 90's; no fluff, no tone controls, no extras, select input and volume; gold-plated speaker-outs; they focused on the sound! I don't game, I need no extras; I want my Criterion Collection and my very select 4k-collection to look great. BUT; I'm on a budget.. I want panasonic, I can pay for Hisense.

TCL is my first time hearing about and just noted it recently launched in South Africa. I am looking for a balance between live sport and gaming. And l was attracted by being a Google TV is it better or a normal smart TV would do.

Wait. Please explain to me why nanocell tvs are the worst performing? I have one and I love it! I was looking to upgrade from my 49 inch to a 65 inch lg nanocell tv. If I should buy something else, what should it be? I love the remote and the ease of accessing my KZbin, Netflix, and switching to my xbox. I also want a TV I can actually read the small print on fortnite with. Thanks!

Samsung and LG does it for me. Best all rounders and the screen quality is far from other TVs that I have tried before (Sony, Panasonic) since we bought our first LG and replaced it with a Samsung after 4 years, we never came back to any other brand other than the two. There is a reason why they own 65% of the market.

They are all around, but my experience is that while they have a reputation on their top of the line tvs, low and mid categorie LGs and Samsungs are most often not the ones to go for. After last years disaster in nanocell picture quality , LGs have recently improved in the mid segment with their improved miniled line, but especially Samsung I would avoid if you have less than 1000 bucks to spend on a tv. I think both Sony and Panasonic have their entry levels put together much better. TCL is another sub 1000 budget tv to advice. And here in Europe, we have Philips that offers a lot at a price where Samsung still offers very little.

LG was the worst tv and refrigerator weve ever had. Switched to TCL and whirlpool and love them both. I thought for sure theyd both be trash because they were so cheap. Nope. My dad always said you get what you pay for and I lived by that for yearsss. While that may be true most times, it's not all of the time. We dont game or anything so maybe that's a big difference

We have LG tv but suddenly won't turn on I don't know why. Maybe the backlight ? So the appliance store recommend us to get Sony tv even thought our plan is go for TCL because of the price. So now we bought SONY Bravia 50' X75 .. I really love the picture quality, the colors and motion it also have X protection pro. The cons is the price it's pricey than to other brand but it's okay the quality is superb and durability.

I have been buying all of my live only Panasonic for TV. I like the quality and images of this brand since 1994. The last models 2022 - 2023 are even better and for gaming not only for movies! By the way 😊 very informative video!
