Seeing it stand up to the S95D and Bravia 9 is pretty awesome, too. Kudos has to go to Samsung as well for making a QD OLED for the people like the S90D that you don't need to spend a small fortune on. Top left before you said anything looks way better IMO. This is coming from owning both B9 and A95l. After watching them both, I’ve learned what to look for and wishing what an image would look like and I’m seeing what I wish I had with color. That’s wild! Good comparisons. Actually I changed my mind. Bottom right, top left, bottom left and top right. Only because at sections of gaming, 34:51 the blue bar on the wall looked better top left but once you turned to the red outside, the bottom right looked phenomenally well. Then I went back to the blue bar on the wall and compared and the extra oomph and darkness and brightness I like on the bottom right better. That’s a good tv!

@diaconescutiberiu7535 on the website displayspecifications you get information about what location has the QDOLED or the WOLED in which sice to buy. In Europe the S90D only the 65" variant has the QDOLED.

@@diaconescutiberiu7535 Only the 55 and 65 are QDOLED yes. I’m not sure why Samsung did it that way this year but anything above or below is only WOLED. Also remember the bigger isn’t always better! The bigger the size screen the more pixels that you have to stretch out and sometimes the less detail that you have. If you really think the size of your room needs one then fine but honestly, if you sit close enough to your TV even 55 will look huge. Mine is in my bedroom and it’s a 55 and I absolutely love it!

Always keep it offline and use external devices unless quantum tells us specifically that there’s a reason to upgrade the firmware because otherwise you’re in danger of your picture quality not being where it should be overtime because they mess it up with updates!

He’s managed to get to this level by going completely against the grain-no perks, no free samples from manufacturers-just staying honest. That speaks volumes. What I respect most is that he's brutally honest and doesn't sugarcoat anything. When I found out he thought HDR sucked, I knew we were on the same page-I’ve been saying that for years. By the way, Quantum, the new Samsung mini LEDs like the QN85D have this killer feature called HDR Remaster for SDR content. It uses Samsung’s Gen 2 AI processor to convert SDR into the HDR color space in real-time, and it’s everything real HDR should’ve been from the start. It's a total game changer and another awesome new feature that no one talks about. It does a better job mastering HDR content than actual HDR content is mastered!

So wait us S90D owners should actually let the TV upgrade the firmware?! Was not expecting to hear that at all. Can you tell us what number so we don’t accidentally go past it because mine is a little bit less than a month old now since I got it and obviously you have to do it at least once in order to get the TV to even function when you first hook it up. I’m excited to know if you used the same settings for gaming and content for HDR because I spend way more time watching content than I do gaming. Otherwise, I would leave it off for everything but gaming due to it still being inconsistent despite how good the end portion was unless you tell me differently because I do play, but no more than a couple hours a day because of my disability and the fact that it hurts my hands a little bit to play for too long. I’m obviously not surprised at all that that the S90D outdid everything almost all the time! I was convinced immediately when you first got the TV and I’ve never been so happy with a purchase in my entire life! That being said, it is really interesting to see where the other models do trade off sometimes and particularly how well the TCL can hold its own because it’s using inferior technology in Mini LED. For that price, I would say that’s an extremely good deal! And I still can’t simply around my head around how bad Sony really is! It’s just so sad! Thanks as always for everything Q!

I’m a photographer and did a colour accuracy test on the S95D, S90D, B9, B8 and G4. From an accuracy perspective, the B9 smashed everyone. I used a colour calibrated monitor to compare as well as prints. I spent an hour tweaking all the TVs and tested again. B9 nailed it again. Also was thoroughly impressed with the B9 for EPL/Olympics/Paralympics in comparison to the others. I respect your opinions and reviews, but I guess for my needs the B9 just suited me.

Im a photographer as well. The B9 has muted colors that aren't realistic for movies but looks good on photos. Photography is the reverse of tv watching. Less color is better for prints. Not apples to apples.

Just got my TCL from Amazon here in Japan (Samsung is not widely available here or after seeing this video I might have got one of those instead). I'm curious about the TCL model I've got though. Model number is QM8B, which is listed as an Amazon JP exclusive model. The specs are shown the same as the C755 which is what is available in all the stores. After connecting it to my Google account I receive an email telling me to finish setting up my TCL G08. So, in the end I've got no idea what TCL America model it is closest to. Any idea? Price on Amazon... 110k yen... about $770 USD, and I'm loving it. Anyway, thanks for putting up such informative videos.
